We arrived at Zhouzhuang in the middle of Typhoon BeBinca. The host bring out umbrella all the way from her place to our car park. We were all drenched nevertheless because the strong wind and heavy rain. At night when most restaurants were closed due to the typhoon she still called a friend who owns a local restaurant to check on whether her restaurant is open and helped us to order dinner.
She also helped to carry our luggage on her scooter to Zhouzhuang entrance on the next when we checked out.
Very friendly and helpful host.
Her place is small but the view looking out at the river is superb.

It’s not a bad idea. It’s located in an ancient town and it’s very noisy. People come in at 12 o’clock in the evening without caring about other customers. It’s blaring outside at 6 o’clock in the morning. Anyway, I didn’t sleep for a few hours. They only care about making money and don’t care about the experience. I saw Comment: Free parking when staying at the hotel, but you have to pay 20 yuan for parking when you leave.
