Fairmont Yangcheng Lake

We chose Fairmont Hotel for our May Day family trip. It was an unexpected surprise. The front desk manager RUBY contacted us in advance to inquire about the arrival time and recommended hotel restaurants. We paid to upgrade to a panoramic suite at the front desk. The view was really great. It was great and worth it. If there were any problems, RUBY would help solve them in time. He was patient and gentle. The recreation director Jason was also very enthusiastic. Everything was easy to communicate with. He personally drove the train and there were many activities for the children. I will definitely come again for the service of the two of you. It is really highly recommended!!!

Let me talk about the advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that there are a lot of parent-child recreational activities. The lawn of Xilu Garden is amazing, and the children's activities are full for two days. Then it is self-driving friendly, and the parking lot is very convenient to connect the hotel and the room. The service response is fast and diligent. In addition, the hotel has a good sense of design, the room is spacious (but the facilities in the room can be more complete, such as luggage racks), and it has been renovated for a long time but it is not particularly old. For the part that can be improved, the breakfast variety can be increased (but this may be related to the scale of the Western restaurant, and it may not be realistic to increase it) or highlight the characteristics (Aozao noodles are not attractive enough at present). In addition, there are not many recreational activities at night. In fact, sunset viewing can be used as a theme activity; the lawn can also be used, especially open-air movies can be considered. In addition, the hotel can consider introducing vending machines or fruit shops. Shopping in the surrounding area is not convenient, and basically relies on takeout. There is still demand for this part.

I stayed during the May Day holiday and upgraded to a lake view suite. The whole room is 156 square meters, the living room is very large, and Yangcheng Lake is outside the window. You can watch the sunset in the living room, and the scenery is very beautiful. Thanks to the front desk for the recommendation. There are two indoor and outdoor swimming pools in the hotel, and the indoor children's playground is relatively small. As a parent-child hotel, there are many places for children to play, such as karting, archery, farm, etc., and there are many activities.

We booked a garden view room. As soon as we walked into the room, there was a smell that had been stuffy for a long time. The uncle who installed the bed fence said that old hotels are like this. The cleaning aunt said that it would be fine if we just opened the window... Room facilities: relatively old, the toilet seat does not have heating and flushing functions, it is very cold every time I go to the toilet, the water in the sink and bathtub leaks very slowly, and the water easily accumulates together. The welcome fruit is also wilted, and there are dirt and hair in the bathtub. To be honest, the lake view of the hotel is very good. If it is a lake view room, you may not have so much time to stare at the room. Service: There are good and bad. We wanted to take a small train with our baby. The service staff said that we booked it at the front desk of the fitness center. When we arrived at the fitness center, we found that we could only rent bicycles. If we wanted to take the train, we had to go to the lakeside and wait for the train to come. This small train does not belong to the hotel. It costs 28 per person to go around, and the cost performance is average. The service staff did not take the initiative to ask if we needed baby teething kits, so we brought our own and did not mention it. Meals: Since the hotel was fully booked when we checked in, we distributed breakfast cards for different time periods in advance, which was very good. Basically, we could have breakfast when we arrived. The food was average, the sweet potatoes were wrinkled, and the noodles and wontons were pretty good. We went to Yifengge Chinese Restaurant for dinner on the first day. The food quality was OK. I personally felt that the highly rated Aozao noodles were not as good as the noodles in the breakfast area. Environment: The lake view is unique. It is very pleasant to walk along Yangcheng Lake after dinner. There is also an outdoor children's playground by the lake, where you can bring your own sand digging tools to dig sand. Others: The Yuefeng Island experience included in the package is highly recommended! There are many projects and a good environment, but the front desk did not give the tickets when I checked in at the beginning. I went to consult later... The children's playground is relatively small, and it is OK for young children to play casually. Overall, the hotel is average in terms of cost performance. I will consider changing to another one next time I go to Yangcheng Lake.
