《撚る屋 YORUYA》總共12間客房，由百多年前的歷史建築改造而成。“一泊二食”值得體驗，晚餐2個多小時的omakase尤其驚艷，圍坐枱前吃着、喝着、聊着…看着料理長操刀精心製作，似一場視覺味覺的享受。

倉敷の伝統的な趣きと現代性が絶妙に調和した素晴らしいお宿。 築100年以上の歴史を感じさせつつ、SIMPLICITYの洗練された内装や現代作家さんの器、オリジナルの照明や座椅子など、全てが質の高い空間でした。（全部欲しくなりました） 待合室にある、貴重な本をお部屋でゆっくり読めるのも嬉しい。 (河井寛次郎の仕事や、工芸青花の本から料理の本まで…！) 美観地区の穏やかな空気感が宿にも流れています。 日中の柔らかな光はもちろん、夜の障子越しに映るサルスベリの枝葉の影は息をのむ美しさ。 食事は岡山の旬の食材が中心。 特に熟成されたお刺身とシェフお手製のオリジナルのお塩が感動的な美味しさでした。 器も美しいです。陶工房斿さんの備前焼きの器や湯呑みは、土の質感やフォルムが素敵。 ヤマノネ硝子さんの高台付きのグラスは、繊細なゆらぎと口当たりの薄さが魅力で思わず購入しました。 スタッフの方の細やかな心遣いも印象的で、自分の名前と同じ倉敷の酒蔵のお話をしたところ、夕食時にその酒蔵の日本酒を一杯サービスしていただくという温かなサプライズも。 季節を変えてまた必ず訪れたい場所です。

倉敷に行きたいと思うきっかけの宿でした。 岡山空港からレンタカーで宿に向かったところ近くまで到着はしていたものの駐車場が分からず電話したら、明るい声で今行きますね、と上着も羽織らず外に出てきて向かってきてくれたのが印象的で好印象で、この宿の雰囲気とひとの良さが今ではここから滲み出ていたなと思います。 いつもはなんとなく見渡して見過ごしてしまいそうな、本やオブジェや陶器、お部屋の置いてあるもの細部までこだわりが詰まっているとお聞きしたので、大切に見て感じることができました。 お誕生日だったのでプレートをお部屋に持って来ていただいたり 雨がこれから降るので、と傘を持たせてくれたり ユーモアを取り入れながらの気の利いたお心遣いにも何度も感謝しました。 お料理は全て美味しく頂きました。 少しお茶目でお話しが始まるとなんだかギャップを感じて面白いシェフがデザート後我々の元へ来てくれてお話ししてくださり、そういう時間がとても良かったです。 翌朝の朝食もさらに楽しみになりました。 洗練された空間と、本当に素敵なお部屋での滞在、あたたかいスタッフの方々、美味しいお料理を頂き、 本当に良い時間を過ごすことができました。 ありがとうございました。

撚る屋に宿泊することを楽しみに、友人と2人で岡山県・倉敷市を訪れました。 倉敷駅から「美観地区ちかみち」を通って歩いた先に撚る屋の看板を発見。入り口の縄暖簾を少し緊張して潜ると、和モダンなスタイルで統一された空間が広がっていました。 部屋に用意されていた食器ひとつ取っても、岡山県産に対するこだわりや物語がありました。洗練された雰囲気に緊張すると思いきや、どこか家に居るような安心感までありました。 この贅沢とアットホームが調和したような不思議な体験ができたのは、宿が持つ温もりとスタッフの温かなサービス、そして撚る屋が大好きな常連様が生み出しているのではないでしょうか。 夕朝食の時間でそれを強く感じました。 料理長やスタッフの方々、常連様を巻き込んだ会話が楽しく、幸せを噛み締めるほど美味しい料理と日本酒が更に美味しく感じられました。 この度は素敵な感動体験をありがとうございました。

倉敷美観地区の少し奥の閑静な場所にある新しいお宿さん。料理宿ということでお料理も楽しみにしておりましたが、想像以上の美味しさでした。チェックイン時のわらび餅も料理長お手製とのことで、到着直後から心が満たされました。 夕食も朝食も丁寧で繊細な味付けで、調味料も料理長お手製だと聞きました。 また季節が変わったタイミングで訪れたいと思います。 スタッフの皆さん、ありがとうございました！

民藝の街倉敷を存分に味うことのできる宿です。 美観地区にある撚る屋さんでの滞在は昼間に散策した倉敷の街並みや、美術館での時間がそのまま続いているかのようでした。ロビーやお部屋、お庭など静かで落ち着いた空間は非日常を感じながらも、どこか温かく懐かしい印象。 壁や床の質感、しっかりとした梁、アートピースやのれん、設え全てにこの土地ならではのストーリーを感じとても心地よいこだわりの空間でした。 ライブラリーに収められている書籍を自室で読むことができるのも嬉しいところ。私たちは柚木沙弥郎さんの作品集をじっくりと拝見しました。

宿泊で利用しました。食事を推している宿、というだけに大変満足でした。 岡山の地のもの、旬の食材、自家製の調味料(お塩も手作り)まで。 その土地の食材をいただけるというのは、やっぱり旅の醍醐味ですね。 全体的に優しいお味で、最後まで美味しくいただけました。 食を楽しみたい！という方に是非お勧めのお宿です。 ■立地 倉敷の美観地区内にありますが、メイン通りからは少し離れており、観光にもゆっくりするにもピッタリの場所でした。 日没後、ライトアップされた街並みを歩きながら宿に戻りました。 ■館内・部屋 築110年の建物を改修・増築されており、当時の木材を使っていたりと歴史を感じました。静かな趣きある空間でゆっくり過ごすことができました。 ■アメニティ 環境に配慮された素材、日本の天然由来の素材に重きを置いたもので好感が持てました。 ■サービス 冬だったので、加湿器をお願いしたところダイソンの加湿器を部屋まで持ってきてくれました。スタッフさん、料理長さん、皆様に気さくにお声掛けいただき、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。

先日、かねてからオープンを心待ちにしていた岡山県・倉敷の料理宿「撚る屋」に宿泊してきました。美観地区の中心部に位置しながらも、喧騒から少し離れた場所にひっそりと佇むその姿はまさに隠れ家のような趣です。築100年を超える歴史的な建物を改修したというだけあって、外観は周囲の古い町並みと見事に調和し、時が止まったかのような静謐な空気を纏っていました。 今回滞在してみて、このお宿の魅力は、倉敷の風土が育んだ素材と、そこに息づく職人の手仕事を感じられることにあると感じました。ゲストを迎える入り口の縄暖簾や、部屋で使用するトレー、客室やBARのサイン。アイコンとして分かりやすい食器やグラスだけでなく、パッと手に取ったり、目に入ったモノすべてに豊かなストーリーがある。スタッフの方から語られる言葉に聞き入りながら、この土地が紡いできた時間に思いを馳せる、特別なひとときを過ごせたと感じています。 単に美しい景色やデザインを見るだけでなく、五感で土地の歴史を知ること。それは、イ草の香りや木の温もり、土の感触、ガラスの輝きといったさまざまなこと。美観地区の散策もおおいに楽しみましたが、撚る屋に滞在したことで、倉敷の歴史や文化、そしてそこに息づく工芸の美しさをより深く楽しむことができました。 単なる宿泊施設に留まらず、倉敷の魅力を体いっぱいに体験できる場所、それが「撚る屋」だと思います。このたびはありがとうございました。
