Kurobe Hotels with Wi-Fi

This hotel is a bit past its prime and well into its twilight years but it still has plenty to offer to its guests. The check-in process was efficient but being the only foreigner in a somewhat remote area proved to be a challenge for my limited Japanese. Thankfully the clerk was patient with me and we muddled through. The onsen area was nice but the outdoor bath area was tiny and oddly directly under some balconies and a straight view from the convenience store across the way. Given you are naked, it felt pretty exposed but it wasn't a deal breaker. The evening dinner and morning breakfast was buffet style (you have time slots) and offered a wide variety of food. It was slightly above average for a buffet. Check out was easily completed at a digital kiosk though you do need to pay with cash at checkout. They offer a free luggage holding service which was very nice when you want to explore the gorge after check-out.

The master who said that he would stay in Toyama city because he could not stay in one person to participate in the Kurobe Namizu marathon. Unazuki Onsen? I didn't know, and I was listening from right to left, but I knew it was a tourist destination on TV I want to go together if I stay at unazuki Onsen. I don't support the marathon, but I want to take the trolley train. And the master's stay schedule was changed, and the reservation was expected to see the view of this hotel. The view was healed as I thought. I saw various word of mouth, but it seems that the evaluation is low in the middle of the corona pass, but I expected it to go back to the past or the recent word of mouth evaluation was high. It was as expected there. Stayed on the top floor of Kita Kan (6F). It was a pity that the meal was sold out of a small amount of course (10 items in the party seat dish), but it was full enough. It is said that it is 12 items if it is ordinary kaiseki. The master was also the day before the marathon, so it seems that the taste and the amount were satisfactory. The rice is in the dining room (private room) for each jar. Is the water delicious? The rice was delicious.

Entaijiso exceed my expectations. Right from the check in till check out, the staff gave us amazing hospitality. They made a vegetarian dinner for us (on prior request )which was amazing with about 50 items to eat. The breakfast buffett had a doable selection of vegetarian too. The onsens were superv. The views from the room were as per the description. The lady who checked us in was such a wonderful female. She was the only one who spoke english. She explained us all the things to use, helped us wearing yukatas, went with me all the way to show the onsen as I was confused with the floors. She was very patient with us. Other female ( although not fluent in english) was very helpful for us to transfer our bags to shinano omachi as we proceeded for alpine route. . Indeed it exceeded my expectation in all the ways. All my requirements were fulfiled. 1. Room with great views of the gorge in 5th floor 2. Traditional japanese style rooms with futon beds, yukatas, a coffee table to enjoy the view. Huge rooms. 3. Bathroom had separate toilet, separate basin and separate tub. Shower was in the tub. We had a bath at the onsen which had a huge selection of shampoos and all other amenities. U get everything u need. 4. The onsens were great. On one floor it had indoor onsen both male n female separated opposite to each other. The outdoor one has 2 floors which keeps on rotating b/w male n female. The top one is for females in the morning and men at night. The bottom floor is for females at night and men in the morning. 5. They have a car pick up n drop service till shin kurobe unazuki station which is about half an hour from unazuki station which is for local trains. You need to inform them prior. 6. The vegetarian kaiseki was also superv. Beyond my imagination. They had aubergine, rice, bamboo shoot, cold soba, desserts, rice balls,artichokes, carrot, pickles,mushroom, tofu,raddish, soy sauce, sweets, dessert. They were served in small bowls. U can add them to your hot pot or mix it with rice. Or eat it like one by one dish. We took one hour to complete the kaiseki meal so u can imagine the varieties served. We had a wonderful stay at Entaijiso.

This building is ２ minutes by car from unazuki Onsen Station, ７～８ minutes walk. It is saved because it climbs from the hotel to the station. The entrance of the hotel is just right, but it is because of the corona ridge or the front desk construction system is insufficient, so it takes time to guide. However, you can drink free coffee at the location (lobby?) when you are waiting. The room used a Japanese room, but the outlet is also rich. The chairs and tables were also prepared, but the floors were also renovated and could be seated. We used it instead of baggage racks. Yukata was prepared for large and medium size, and was used according to the body type. [meal] dinner, board length meeting seat. I was expecting a little bit of white shrimp cherry fish and Hokuriku Toyama, but I only ordered abalone ３ pieces of thin meat. breakfast, ２ Dan weight? A side dish was prepared and set on each table. When guided to the seat, rice miso soup is served, and the ingredients to warm it with five virtues are prepared. breakfast, quite volume. Because there are many people climbing mountains from the morning? [bath] Replacement of male bath and female bath is performed in the middle of the night. , so you can enjoy ”９ hot water”, but this hot water is composed of ４ hot water and foot bath １ ９. This hotel is truly outstanding. It has a century-old hot spring! Provides a memorable hot spring experience. I especially enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and excellent service of the place, and the room was large (much larger than in Japan). By the way, there is a waiter named ”Dazhong”, her English can be, thank you for the reception, and also provided very good help, thank you very much for her careful care. Although the hotel has left a very good impression on the whole, the buffet at night may be slightly average. This is the only downside. Maybe the hotel can further improve the quality of the dinner to match the other excellent service levels. Overall, this hotel is a great choice with a beautiful environment, excellent service and a century-old spa. Thanks again to the service staff named ”Dazhong”, haha, her professional attitude left a deep impression on me. I recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Unazuki Station. Since there was a heavy storm that day, It was raining, so it was a bit awkward dragging my suitcase to the hotel. It was just renovated in 2023. There is a little smell in the room and the hot spring is very good! I paid extra to book a private bath. The water quality is so comfortable! The accommodation included dinner and breakfast the next day. The dinner was delicious. A male waiter could speak simple Chinese and had been to Shanghai. Basic communication was no problem. Breakfast the next day was still delicious. This hot spring area is relatively unpopular and there are not many online introductions, but it can avoid the crowds.

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful, and our room was very spacious with a great view of the river and bridges. Athough I had only booked a standard room, which I thought would be facing the car park, we were pleasantly surprised with the room we were provided. It was great to have a spacious room with table and chairs and plenty of room to open suitcases after staying in small pokey rooms in the city The buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic although we are Aussies, we respect that it is not necessarily going to cater for Westerners, so we made to do with what was provided, and there was plenty! A couple of things that didn’t suit us (being Aussies). Strange teacups with no handles (although all other hotel cups were ceramic mugs with handles) and very small towels. The bath mat was no bigger than a handtowel and the main towels were not too much bigger than a large hand towel. The pillows were also way to firm, but if you like firm pillows, this would of course suit. If you can’t read Japanese like us, then make sure you know the hotel location as there is no English signage at the front entrance. The hotel has a shuttle bus from the train station, but it is only a 5 minute walk. It’s nice and close to the train station and Kurobe gorge rail train. A very small quiet town.

I stayed while stopping by my grandmother's house. Regarding the location, it is highly recommended for those who have a car. Not only is the recently built roadside station called KOKO Kurobe in front of you, but everything is nearby, including public baths and supermarkets. The front desk was also very simple and we were able to check in immediately. The room was not as quiet as a normal business hotel and was very quiet because the next door was not adjacent. The room shakes a little every time I walk, but it didn't bother me. There is also a vending machine on the premises, and there is also a free breakfast (frozen food), so there was nothing to worry about. I would like to use it again.
