I planned to stay in a century-old house like this in Kyoto for a long time. I decided to choose this one because it included breakfast. 😀I was quite surprised when I went there. Although it is a bit far from the main attractions on foot, there are Railway Museum and Umekoji Park nearby, and there is a Japanese hot spring next to it that is very good. 😄The host, Mr. Yamada, was waiting in the room early. He spoke English well and arranged check-in for us in advance. We were the only family staying that day, and the room on the second floor was very spacious. It was very cold outside, but it was super warm inside. ☺️Aunt Nozawa prepared a sumptuous Japanese breakfast for us the next day, which was very delicious😋 Mr. Yamada, who looks like Grandpa Hayao Miyazaki, even drove us to our first destination after asking about our Kyoto itinerary for the day. 😘Thank you very much for their attentive service, it is one of our best memories in Kyoto!
