It's walking distance from some great sites like Nijo Castle, the Samurai Ninja museum and the bustling market. The transport links are great and easy to get to most places of interest. Staff were very helpful and even rushed to fetch towels when we came in from the rain. There is no restaurant on site so, breakfast is only a bento box but it was so tasty! And there's a fantastic little cafe/restaurant just down the street (to the right as you leave the hotel) which was lovely for dinner. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have a larger selection of manga in English or other languages."
