A short subway ride to the centre of Kyoto but a world a way from the chaos, Kamo represents an idyllic retreat and base camp for taking in all there is to see and do in the ancient city. Spacious, modern and well appointed rooms in a serene setting overlooking the river, together with efficient and unobtrusive service allows me to highly recommend the property.

The Kamo Delta is a hidden gem in Kyoto and this place is right on the correct spot. The room is fabulous with great bedding and quality furniture. It’s more like a large studio apartment than a hotel room. There’s even a stove top, laundry machine, and microwave/toaster oven. The large window facing the river actually slides open so you can let the fresh air from the riverside into the room. My favorite was just watching people enjoying the rock crossing at the delta at sunset. Such a lovely spot and that I hope to spend more time at soon.
Location is super convenient to buses, a subway station, and Shimogamo Shrine - a UNESCO world heritage site that is just spectacular and very much undiscovered by the hordes or tourists that visit Kyoto (and I hope it stays that way!)

本次日本行最推薦的酒店，其實有點像民宿的感覺。一共是六間房，都有廚房區和洗烘一體的洗衣機配置。房間設施很完備，工作人員服務也非常棒，可以幫忙解決各類需求，訂餐，旅遊推薦啥的都有，早餐也很豐富，經常都吃不完。附近就是鴨川三角洲，電車和公交也很方便。非常適合作為來京都躺平一陣子的酒店，下次還會再光顧。

Excellent location; extremely friendly staff. Ideal to enjoy a local experience not as complicated as a Ryokan, but that allows you to enjoy a good local food breakfast in a very comfortable room with a nice view of the river.

早餐是精緻的日式便當盒，搭配新鮮水果，豐盛又美味。酒店位置優越，距離京阪電車站步行僅三分鐘。服務貼心且多語種溝通無障礙，甚至主動幫忙晾曬衣物。
