The hotel is very close to Kyoto station yet located in a peaceful area. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. I stayed with my wife and daughter and despite being small (normal for Japanese hotels) we still felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Nice Staff. Nice and clean hotel.
Sad didn't have breakfast or any foods. No restaurants surrounding. 7-11 was the saviour.

A very cost-effective hotel located near Kyoto Station, convenient for shopping and dining. The service is also very good. You can store your luggage for free before check-in and after check-out. The hotel staff speaks very good English and there is no problem in communication. This time we booked two rooms separately, and they arranged for us to be on the same floor when we checked in, which was very thoughtful.

If you push the bed slightly towards the wall, you can open a 32-inch and a 28-inch suitcase at the same time. Disposable items are also available. Overall it was OK, but you need to note that it is divided into a main building and an annex. We stayed in the annex and needed to check in at the main building and then walk two blocks to get to the annex. We also needed to go to the main building to check out, which was not as convenient as we thought. The bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, but it has a shower curtain to prevent water from splashing. This time I went to Kyoto mainly to enjoy the cherry blossoms. Clean and tidy, it's a new hotel. The lobby has a nice woody scent and the tea bags are delicious. It's not far from the Hachijo Exit of Kyoto Station. The area is very quiet. You have to walk to Kyoto Station to have more options for dining.
