The hotel is stunning and located in an old wood storage facility the team really did an amazing job on creating a unique stay experience. Breakfast was very personal and authentic and the bath in the room was sublime.
As with older buildings it is hard to keep spiderwebs and dust away from all corners yet it was very clean overall besides that. Staff was very friendly and even though great location near Noji castle and the palace it is a bit further away from the centre.
Subway is just 3 blocks away, busses nearby are plenty and overall a very recommended stay.

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and husband who are stationed in Japan. This was our first trip to Japan. We loved this hotel. The service was excellent, the location was very convenient, and the room was elegant, spacious, and with a beautiful private garden. The wooden bathtub was so relaxing!

The price/performance ratio is not high, 3900 per night and you have to pay extra for hot spring bathing. I went there to take pictures based on the first picture in the promotional picture, but I didn't see the scene in the first picture when I arrived...

Facilities: Everything is available and exquisite. It was winter when I went there, and the floor heating was so comfortable. Wooden bathtub, toilet and shower separated.
