A few years ago, I found out that there was a lodging facility at the Kyoto International Conference Center, and I wanted to try it out. This time, I went to Shugakuin Imperial Villa, Shisen-do Temple, Entsu-ji Temple, and other places with the intention of staying at the facility. It is just west of the subway "Kokusai Kaikan Station," but if you walk, it takes 5 to 6 minutes to get there, as you have to go through a large parking lot after exiting Takaragaike-dori. Once inside, it has the atmosphere of a normal business hotel, but the room is a twin, so I was able to relax. After making a reservation, I found out from other people's reviews that the toilet seat was not a washlet. Since it is a facility with the name "Kokusai," I thought, "No way...", but it was true. The outdoor toilet opposite the entrance had a washlet, so if you really want to use it, I recommend using that. I had dinner in the city center, but there are several restaurants in the surrounding area. In the morning, bread and drinks were prepared in front of the front desk, so I took them back to my room (the website said "Service until June 30, 2025"). I was a little unsatisfied, so I bought boiled vegetables* at a convenience store the day before.
