Room is a bit small but Kyoto in general doesn't have the same type of hotel as a big city like Tokyo/Osaka
WIth that said the room was clean, staff were professional, decor was nice, what more can you ask for.

Only first time trying this hotel. Surprisingly got free upgrade to their best suite for our silver wedding anniversary! All hotel staff we’ve come across are very cheerful & helpful and made us feel so warm at our stay. Room service is also of very high quality at reasonable price range 🥰

Every hotel member is really friendly and helpful, from restaurant reservation to sightseeing route. The room is clean and well-equipped. Our 8-day stay has been very welcoming.

Amazing place! We loved the food, the service quality, proximity to the temples, museums, malls and convenience stores. The staff were very kind and extremely helpful. The stay was peaceful and memorable. Thank you Hyatt Regency.

Simple and low-key luxury, well-maintained facilities, complete facilities, lobby and dining that match a 5-star hotel. I was a little nervous after reading the bad reviews, but after the stay, I felt very good. I still recommend it
