Wow!!! This by far has been our favorite of all the hotels we have stayed in Japan, if you are looking for a combination of traditional and modern this is it!. We first thought it was inconvenient as we were nervous and have never been in Japan and felt so different than Tokyo, but once we were settled, we all agreed it was the best so by far, beautiful, clean and super safe!!! We even left our teenagers move by themselves in the area. Just be mindful that some restaurants close early or check the times and days they close, go to a Konbini and pack up on snacks, the rooms have refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, toothpaste, pj's, name it, they have it! Kyoto is absolutely beautiful! I would happily stay here a month and wouldn't miss home one bit!! Enjoy your trip!!!

The appartement is clean and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. After check out we could store our luggage safely till we leave to our next stop. Location is very good and is walking distance to busses, subway and grossery/family martl

Everything is fine… just curios on the number of amenities provided is based on the number of stay and number of people… example if we are staying for 3 days then the amenities like cotton pad, soak bath soap and tea/coffee can’t be only one day :(. Btw we are 4 peoples. Do consider this for future consideration as benefit+ value added

Pros:
1.Big space for big families (I and my wife with 3 kids).
2.2 toilets and one big enough bathroom.
3.clean
4. My kids love to sleep on tatami.
cons:
1.location is a bit far if you got kids and carry big luggage with you.
2.you have to make sure check email before go there because the receiption counter is not in the hotel. obviously i am the one who did not check my email.
3.they will ask you clear dustbin when is full. but they didnot provide me any plastic bag for replacing.
overall, it is a nice place to stay if you dont mind to have a walk from train station.

The hotel is in Nijo, but check-in is at Kyoto Train Station. If you don’t receive a notification before checking in, or if you receive a notification but don’t notice that the two are not in the same place (how does a foreigner know the difference between Kyoto Station and Nijo? Of course you can navigate directly to the hotel), it means you will waste nearly 1 For several hours, I ran back and forth several kilometers.
