The Thousand Kyoto

Hotel was super nice! I loved almost everything. The room was very big for Japanese standards and the staff was very professional and fluent in English. Location couldn’t be better, right next to Kyoto Station and a lot of options for shopping and dining. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. They divide it in a western and japanese breakfast. But the western breakfast didn’t really have much western choices. And the coffee was not good. This could be improved. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would recommend it. :-)

The hotel location is good, just next to Kyoto station. What impressed me most about this hotel is the great service. The first day i lost my camera on taxi, and the front desk staff named Toshihiro Kasamatsu was really nice and helped me contact the taxi company, and i got my camera back the next day. On the last day, i found i left my daughter’s eye contact lences at hotel when i arrived home in china. It’s Andi helped me find the lences out of the trash within one hour and Mayuko Miki helped me with the delivery. Those three staff made me really move, and their kindness, profession and efficiency left me so good impression about this hotel and Japan. No words can express my thanks.
Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex

I stayed 8 days in the hotel, I really liked. I was alone in the room, maybe for 2 people it’s a bit small. It’s extremely clean and even though it has carpet, I didn’t have any problems with allergies. The room has everything I need, kettle, fridge, hair dryer, bath, and other things. I hope I can come back soon.

The best advantage of this hotel is the location in front of Kyoto station. The rooms are old and the air conditioning is very noisy. The breakfast is good. I stayed here 5 nights and I can recommend this hotel if you accept the old rooms, the advantage of the location is worth it.
