Sky Beach Hotel

By far The Best Location in the area. right off the beach, superb view and a few minutes from the little village wit bars and restaurants. Family owned and operated hotel. Nikos heads it uop and is a great guy!. Uber relaxed atmosphere, he didn't even ask for card or passport at check in (we did not have a reservation). Everything adequate, even fresh OJ (from own orchard) at included breakfast. And yes, it's not superluxe, but very much (lot of) value for (little) money.

Family run friendly hotel. Rooms spotlessly clean, food delicious and the kids loved the pool! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Eleni and Nikos. We have had a fantastic 2 weeks and are so grateful for all your care and kindness ❤️ We will see you again in 2025. Jack will look forward to more vanilla ice cream 🍨

Room was large and very spacious. It was clean but outdated. The ac worked fine. For the panoramic view, we were disappointed as our room had only a side sea view and not as their website let you intend. With regards to breakfast we only paid €10 for two but still it was not worth it as only bread, some ham and cheese, jams and a piece of cake were served. Location is quite good though. Will I return? yes but will not have breakfast and will ask for a front sea view room!

A modern hotel with a vertical layout which maximizes ocean views. Our room was large and clean, the staff were helpful and accommodating and the breakfast (outdoors on the patio) featured fresh vegetables with olive oil and herbs in addition to breads, cake slices, cheese and cold cuts. We did not use the pool, but others did and it looked clean and well-maintained. If we return to Agia Galini we will be happy to stay at the Sky Beach Hotel again.

Our room was huge and there was a lovely big balcony. The hotel was spotless. We really enjoyed the breakfast with fresh orange juice and a lovely plate of fruit which we preferred to the cheese and meat. Plenty of room around the sparkling pool for loungers. FYI there are 45 steps down to the road.

This was our second visit to Aghia Galini but first stay at Sky Beach. Very warm welcome from Eleni, despite being around midnight and very friendly service from Eleni and Nikos throughout our stay. Was lovely to see their family living and working together. Our 2 bedroomed appartment was spacious and very clean. The free air con was in the main bedroom but did feed through to the lounge area also. The balcony was very spacious plus amazing sea views. The pool was very clean and a good size for a small hotel. The cafe bar serves breakfast and snacks throughout the day at reasonable prices. You need to be able to climb the initial steps but then there is a lift to all the higher floors, including the very top where you can be dropped off/picked up by transfers or park your hire car. You could also park by the lower entrance too (quite busy throughout the day due to being very close to the beach). The location is perfect, right by a mini market and the beach with a selection of restaurants and a few shops then about 5 mins walk to the pretty village centre with a much larger choice of restaurants and shops. We sampled lots of restaurants and mini markets - all good. We took a local bus to Tymbaki market one day and used Galini Express (local company in Aghia Galini) for airport transfer from Heraklio and onward to Georgiopolis and also a river trek tour which was fantastic. Highly recommend Giorgos from Galini Express (also cousin of Nikos I believe). Unfortunately I left several bank cards by mistake when we left Sky Beach (and I had not realised until over a week later)...Eleni kindly contacted me about this. Fantastic stay with my wife and 3 teenage children. Definitely recommend and would love to return one day.
