Madison properties in Lanzhou

The room facilities are relatively new and the hygiene is well-maintained. The air conditioning noise is very low, which is great. Since I was traveling with two children, the front desk lady kindly offered an extra breakfast. The laundry room is very smart; it automatically dispenses detergent and disinfectant, and even sends WeChat notifications when clothes are ready. The breakfast quality is good.

The professionalism of the service team was truly impressive. The young lady at the front desk was patient and enthusiastic while processing our check-in, and even proactively recommended local delicacies. The cleaning staff were meticulous, thoughtfully replenishing bottled water, drinks, and toiletries. We even had the pleasant surprise of a complimentary room upgrade! The bedding was soft and spacious, complemented by a sofa at the foot of the bed, making for an exceptionally comfortable rest. The control buttons by the bed and the side table with outlets by the window showed a precise attention to detail, perfectly catering to the needs of business travelers.

This was my first time staying at the Meilun Hotel. I've heard it's similar to the Mercure, and overall it was alright. The hotel is located by the Yellow River, making it convenient to get around. Here are a few shortcomings: 1. Breakfast is a clear weakness. Apparently, it used to be Atour, but it seems to be below average. The variety and presentation of the food felt rather simplistic and haphazard; a little improvement would be great. 2. During my stay, I encountered several front desk staff. Some were quite enthusiastic, while others were rather curt. It felt like there was a lack of overall customer marketing strategy and script training. Their uniforms were also inconsistent, making it difficult to leave a good impression. In general, from the perspective of a chain hotel, many small details show significant room for improvement in standardization.
