29 years after my first visit, it’s even better than it was then, and that’s some ask. We’re now on to the third generation of the family staying here… and the owners are onto their third generation as well, and the hotel continues to go from strength to strength supported by their wonderful staff. Managed two stays this season and it’s not enough.

Michael, Claudia and all the staff provide an all round comfortable relaxing atmosphere together with excellent standards of cuisine, cleanliness and service. All of this contributes to why people keep returning to this hotel year after year.

Haldenhof is a comfortably elegant hotel with beautiful common rooms, a and a well outfitted spa. The highlight is the welcoming, courteous, knowledgeable staff. Breakfast offerings are ample, and one truly can get eggs cooked just the way one wants them. Dinner offerings are creative, and we found them to be good to very good. Our corner room, with its two balconies, provided views of Lech's mountainous surrounds, and was light filled. We had ample space to spread out on both a lounge and easy chair with ottoman. Even inclement weather didn't spoil our hiking holiday as we comfortably settled into the lounge and played cards while enjoying afternoon cake. The only small quibble is the fact that a kettle is not available in the rooms. We certainly hope we are able to return, and recommend without reservation.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our super stay at the Hotel Haldenhof. The family owners manage the hotel and provide a very warm welcome. Our questions were answered through pre-booking correspondence by email. Excellent service throughout and we were provided with a room with a very good view. Spotless, clean rooms, pleasant decor, very homely. Thanks to Claudia, Michael, Hanni, Jonah and all the staff. Also to Rebecca for help with bike hire and the staff managing the restaurant and bar. Super breakfasts set us up for the day's walking. Food was very good indeed, with some creative touches. The hotel had lost their sous-chef that week due to injury, but they managed the restaurant well, nevertheless. One minor suggestion - we missed having a salad bar for the evening meal, which we usually enjoy when in Austria, but no big deal. A very memorable stay and we will consider staying again - either for the walking/biking, or the skiing.

We stayed at the Haldenhof Hotel for eight nights at the beginning of March for a ski holiday and had an extraordinary experience. The service was impeccable throughout our stay. Even when we arrived late at 9:30 PM due to luggage issues at Munich airport, the staff ensured the kitchen prepared us a delicious meal— we're still dreaming about that schnitzel! Our room was lovely and well-equipped with everything we needed. When we had to change rooms on the last night, the staff made the transition seamless by moving our luggage for us whilst we are out skiing for the day. We opted for room and breakfast but ended up dining at the hotel twice for dinner, each time enjoying exceptional meals. The breakfasts were equally impressive. We also frequently relaxed with a glass of wine at the bar, where both the selection and service exceeded our expectations. It’s clear why most guests we met during our stay were repeat visitors. The service, accommodations, and location are truly unbeatable. Should we return to Lech for skiing, I would certainly choose the Haldenhof Hotel again.

Fantastic Hotel! Very friendly family run hotel with elegant and warm interiors and a good food. We stayed for a week as a family with some friends. The children felt really welcome and were treated so well with treats, a movie room and an early dinner option. Breakfast was really good with excellent quality produce and a nice variety. Afternoon soup and a piece of cake waited for us after a good day on the slopes. The hotel has a nice pool and spa to relax in before a five course dinner is served. A good menu every day with a nice wine list and good recommendations. Rooms are spacious, elegant and very comfortable. Staff are well trained and extremely helpful and friendly. The family who own the hotel are fun, friendly and engaging. Thank you Hotel Haldenhof for a fabulous stay!

We stayed at the Hotel Haldenhof as part of our Lechweg Trail hiking adventure. The hotel was fabulous. The owner Michael was excellent and his story of his grandmother along with some of the local history was priceless. All the hotel staff treated everyone in our group as if we were family. The rooms were beyond our expetations and the food was first class.
