Wonderful fabulous classy accommodation on the Camino! We received very warm welcome on our arrival at this beautiful place! The entire property is so nicely decorated and maintained it is so tasteful and classy! Our room was huge with great views, the bathroom was also super classy. Breakfast was in the gorgeous dining room and superb. I can’t speak highly enough about this place it was amazing, we didn’t want to leave!!! Just beautiful and so many business owners could learn from these people.

All the previous reviews are spot on. If walking Comino and you have been roughing it a bit treat yourself here I doubt you will be disappointed. The owners have really tried hard and it is a gem. Lovely reception by English speaking man.Our room was spotless and cool and a joy to stay in but the salon with it's amazing views and drinks ( to purchase ) is a lovely place to relax. Highly recommended.

Six Stars if it were possible. The owners were warm, quick to respond and - well - just great. The place that they have created in this really charming village on the Camino… words fail me a bit. It feels like every inch is vested with care and kindness and the spirit of the Way. There are few times that I’m concerned about gushing: it may draw crowds. But then, how could one not honour the work this couple has undertaken. Makes me want to return to the Camino next year.

Excellent decor with taste and class. Comfortable room with all amenities. Lovely common area with fantastic view. Very nice host and hostess plus a super breakfast. Very good location on the Camino De Santiago in the midst of the countryside. Place with plenty of history.

What a find, just 10 minutes outside Astorga this Rural Boutique Hotel is amazing. Respectfully restored by the owners over 7 years the end result is fantastic. Each room is unique in design and thoughtfully decorated to enhance the ‘Rural’ ambience. The free breakfast is fantastic and the outside relaxing areas in the courtyard are amazing. Can not praise this property highly enough, you will need to come yourself and enjoy the experience. Carlos is amazing and speaks very good English with good suggestions on what to do and see in the local area. Do not often give 10 out of 10 reviews but Via Avis is exceptional. We have travelled as a couple all over Spain and by far this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in.

Un gran lujo inesperado. El hotel se encuentra en Sta. Catalina de Somoza, en el Camino de Santiago. el pueblecito es pequeño y creo que solo cuenta con un bar, pero el hotelito es inmejorable: Habitaciones amplias y con baño, amuebladas con encanto y con todo lo necesario: TV, baño con toallas, gel, champú... detalle de bombones en la habitación a la llegada. En el exterior, bajo el alero, anidan golondrinas y aviones. Buen lugar para aficionados a la ornitología (el dueño creo que lo es). Gran salón con vistas al paisaje, patio interior con encanto... El desayuno abundante y de calidad. No recuerdo lo que me costó una habitación doble con desayuno, pero creo que estuvo alrededor de 70€ y mi impresión general fue que valía mucho la pena.

Una antigua posada en medio del pueblo, rodeado de espacio para trekking y vida rural. Dentro puro buen gusto de decoración, un salón ideal para la lectura y disfrutar el atardecer y un té. Las habitaciones cómodas. Y todo el ambiente cálido y agradable sin exceso de calefacción en nuestro caso por la fecha. El desayuno, para disfrutar....
