"This Hotel is not my choice, it was selected by my tour and what a bad choice. The Hotel is located 40 Minutes from the Old City next to a Hospital. We entered the lobby and it wasn't very welcoming, they asked for our Passports when they were provided by the tour. We received our room key that didn't work had to go back down to the lobby. But the icing on the cake is that they have no AIR CONDITIONER, called the lobby and was told that it was shut off for the season it's May what season. Plus my wife has a medical condition and needs A/C. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL."

"Shower with very little pressure, barely any water coming out. When checking out, they told us that we had to pay for the stay, when it had already been paid for a week before through Trip.com. After checking the system several times, they told us that it was a mistake, but they told us that we had to pay for the parking, when we had parked our car on the street. After waiting a few minutes, they told us that it was another mistake. Too many mistakes for a 4-star hotel that made us waste time checking out, when everything had been paid for a week before."

"The hair dryer was different from what I expected, so I asked at the counter and they lent me a regular hair dryer. They were very kind. However, as it is an old building, there were some places that were not clean. Considering the price, it was okay. It is good for a short stay. Toothpaste and toothbrush are not provided, so you can bring your own or buy them at the nearby Dia."

"Poor reception service. They don't let you unload at the hotel. What one receptionist says isn't valid for the rest... they're just words... And when you express your dissatisfaction, they don't treat you well; they just want you to leave, to never come back. Despite being buffet-style, breakfast isn't served every day; it depends on the season and the day of the week, according to Irene, the receptionist."

"The parking lot is in a different building across from the hotel. Even small cars barely fit, so if you have a large vehicle, be prepared for a tight squeeze. When I first arrived, I pulled up outside the hotel to ask where the parking was. The reception staff were very unhelpful and claimed they couldn't speak English, telling me to wait for another receptionist. This took a long time and was quite frustrating. I stayed for two nights, but the cups weren't washed, and there was a lot of noise in the room. The window in the room didn't open, there was no coffee pot, and the ventilation was poor. The location is good, though."

"Modern hotel, very clean and no noise at all. Very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. For breakfast, you have the option of a buffet or a la carte from the cafe. We chose the buffet, and it was definitely worth the price. (One thing they could improve for breakfast is to offer OAT milk, for those of us who can't drink regular milk or other plant-based alternatives.)"

"The room was very comfortable, with a fantastic view from the window, directly facing the local town hall, and two balconies. During my stay, there was a Saturday market in the square, which I visited after breakfast – it was quite interesting and a good way to experience local life. The hotel's location is excellent; all the attractions are within walking distance. MUSC and San Isidoro are a bit further, but a taxi ride there and a half-hour walk back was possible, though I walked in the shade as the September sun was still quite strong. The hotel thoughtfully provided small gifts. The breakfast was plentiful, providing enough energy for the day. On my departure day, I took a taxi called by the hotel to Astorga; the driver was very nice, and the car was in good condition. Overall, Leon's two and a half days and three nights of immersive experience in the old city were wonderful."
