This was the biggest travel surprise for us. We felt like in historic Chinese movie but had all modern amenities. The hotel consists of several buildings. In between is a park with a brook flowing through. Simply extremrly romantic. The hotel entrance made you feel like entering an ancient noble house. Of course I need to mention the team! They were charming and very supportive. The room was large and offered a large bathroom with a really spacious shower cabin. The beds were perfectly suited for sweet dreams. We will recommend this hotel to all friends who plan to see Lijiang. They will enjoy a great location in the historic old town close to Southe gate with lots of shops and restaurants close by.. Simply a place to return to!

A good old hotel with nice garden but not properly maintained.
Many equipment is of rundown states.
Maybe due to the pandemic. Alot of hotels are yet to recovered.

In 2017, my family and I stayed at Jinfu Hotel. When we passed through Lijiang this time, we chose Jinfu Hotel again. The warm and standardized service is still there, the beautiful garden with ethnic characteristics is still there, and the rooms renovated last year are still simple and elegant. This is a hotel with super cost-effectiveness and worth checking out.
