"Absolutely love our stay here. It's in a quiet corner near to the Shuhe ancient town North Gate. The hotel will assist to bring your luggages from the gate to the hotel premise. Room is bigger than we expected from the photos. Complete amenities and floor heating and electronic toilet bowl with bidet were extremely useful for us - also a Laifen hairdryer wow! Breakfast spread had enough options to cater to different diets - we take halal/qingzhen/vegetarian food and could still enjoy it! Reason why we picked this hotel was because of the many activity offerings it has and these don't disappoint either. Wished we had more days here to enjoy more. Will come back again! Shout-out also to the owner who chose to use existing Naxi houses to refurbish to become this hotel -- I'm sure the maintenance takes a lot compared to building a totally new structure, yet they want to give an authentic experience to guests, and that's very admirable."

"If it were possible to give more than 5 stars for service, we would. Welcomed at the alley by the manager, greeted with warm smiles and great hospitality towards the kids by giving us a free upgrade to a bigger room (based on availability). Breakfast choices were simple, healthy, and fulfilling each day. Really nothing beats a slow morning looking out at the majestic mountain. The hotel staff were all approachable and easily reached via WeChat, they really went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Rooms were clean and spacious! They also offer a complimentary tea set, a free shuttle to an ancient town of our choice, and a free airport transfer. The hotel is a little hard to find at first, but we had no trouble getting Didi in and out daily. Would stay again if we come back to Lijiang!"

"Having stayed at Hampton Inn in the US before, I decided to try one in China, and it certainly didn't disappoint overall. 1) Location: Super convenient for getting around, with a convenience store, pharmacy, and small eateries right by the hotel. The Cantonese restaurant out back is surprisingly authentic! 2) Environment: Situated on the second row from the main street, it's quiet. From my 7th-floor room, the distant mountains appeared and disappeared from view. 3) Service: Excellent. The laundry room staff even helped guests short on time by washing their clothes and delivering them to the room. 4) Hygiene: Up to standard. The lady in the laundry room would routinely wipe water stains off the machines, showing great dedication. 5) Breakfast: Quite varied and never crowded. 6) Facilities: Hardware is well-maintained, and consumables like towels are free of fraying, indicating timely replacement. The one-touch washer and dryer in the laundry room are fantastic! There's also a small robot for convenient food deliveries. They even have a small meeting room equipped with a computer and printer. 7) Suggestion: For the family rooms with two beds, the bathroom has a wet/dry separation but lacks a sliding door like other room types. I'd suggest adding a curtain outside the sink area; it would be practical, offer privacy, and make changing clothes easier. 8) Overall: This is a well-managed hotel that pays attention to details and offers great value for money. I stayed for 4 nights this time and would definitely choose it again."

"The Bivou Lijiang was easily the adults’ favourite stay of our entire Yunnan trip. Opened by a Singaporean, the hotel strikes a perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and warmth. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly cosy. We especially loved the heated bathroom floors, which were such a treat during the cool Lijiang weather. The breakfast spread was simple but good enough, with everything we needed to start the day. What we loved most was the atmosphere — on rainy days, we were more than happy to just stay in and enjoy the hotel because it was that comfortable and relaxing. Service was warm and genuine throughout our stay. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to replace the room carpets with hard flooring. Elegant without being pretentious, The Bivou is the kind of place that makes you wish you had booked an extra night. We’d happily stay here again."

I could see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain the moment I looked up, with layers of clouds swirling around the snow-capped peaks. Below, the lush fields and clear water created a beautiful tableau. We could enjoy this stunning natural landscape without even leaving our room. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were refined and complete, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff provided warm and attentive service, taking great care of our entire family throughout our trip. Celebrating my birthday at the foot of the snow mountain, surrounded by beautiful scenery and supported by such thoughtful service, created an incredibly atmospheric and memorable experience. This high-quality accommodation made our birthday trip extra special and truly complete.
