We booked a room for 2 days and could not attend as it was impossible to be there without methods of teleportation. There were floods in the region and austria in 2024 (see picture added) and WE CANCELED the reservation, again, as there was no possible way to arrive in time without a possibility of death. They wanted the money anyway as the cancelation was to close to the date. And called lawyers on us. Sorry that we can not see into the future that floods arrive a few days before the date we wanted to be there. We are going to pay, as calling our layers and suing them is not worth the stress and time. But this hotel not accommodating the situation we were in is plain rude, we did not have bad intentions, we just were not able to come due to floods - again.

Great travel/on the go hotel. Quick. friendly check-in and food and drinks served till late with option to purchase sandwiches and snacks 24 hrs. I particularly like the fact that they have an ironing room on each floor with a top-notch steam iron. Nice location to airport and quick access to taxi.

Wonderful facility, easy walk to town. 💯 % recommend this place to stay. Host points you to all the good restaurants 👍 Walk to town is about 15 minutes with lovely views along the way. Lindau is full of old world charm.

The rooms are equipped with everything you need. Perfect for a short break. Generally very cozy atmosphere. The street next door is almost inaudible and it is very quiet, despite the train line running next door.

If you want to spend 2 or 3 days on Lindau Island, the hotel is very good: 1 minute from the Lake Constance promenade, 10 minutes (or less) on foot to the Lindau Island center, free parking in front of the hotel, ground floor room with huge bathroom and terrace! Hotel staff and manager super nice, breakfast is definitely good but we preferred to have breakfast on the island, the hotel is next to the railway line but if you walk a lot during the day and then sleep deeply, you hardly hear the few trains! Conclusion: price/performance ratio is really good. There is no reason to book on the island --＞ recommended! We will be back!

Simple hotel a stone's throw from Lake Constance. The center of Lindau can be reached in about ten minutes with a pleasant walk. Room rather small, clean and well maintained. Excellent possibility of free parking on site. Very kind staff. Excellent breakfast, worthy of superior category hotels. Right price.

Location right on the railway embankment to the island - about 15 minutes walk to the promenade and no parking stress as there are free parking spaces right by the hotel. Rooms well equipped, good WiFi. Reception and breakfast room quite minimalist. The noise from the frequent train traffic is a little disturbing.
