"This hotel is actually three hotels side by side. When we made the reservation we thought we were reserving at the Bayerischer but it turned out to be the Reutemann which everyone refers to as the Seegarten. The sign above the entrance is Reutemann. If you are now confused then join the club. The best approach to these hotels is to head to the train station, turn left and go ahead and park in the garage or the gated lot. Press the button and give them your name and they will open the gate. From here you can go back to the street you drove in on and checkin down the street across from the bicycle shop. We opted for a room with a view of the lake. We did get a view of the lake however, there was a large tree that blocked most of our view. The hotel was nice and the breakfast was well stocked and the service was very good. The room was spacious with two chairs, a fridge, separate bath with shower. The hotel was convenient to several restaurants in the area. We thought the rate and the 28 euros for parking was somewhat overpriced for the quality of the lodging."

"The hotel provides a very friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. It is about 2K from the train station. The room is small but with a refrigerator. No kettle is provided while I like to make my own coffee and tea. The lock of door could not be opened easily with the key. I needed to pull the door handle a little bit when I twisted the key at the same time in order to open it. Apart from this minor setback, I found the breakfast so good and with two thumbs up."

"A very cozy, best maintained hotel in a very central location of Lindau. Very much love for details! We are on a bicycle tour through the south of Germany and we have new accommodation every day...this deserves a special recommendation. In the afternoon there are self-cake for guests, the breakfast buffet has many fresh products and everything is lovely made. Whoever doesn't want to have large anonymous accommodation is best placed at this address."

"We only went to the terrace restaurant for lunch in the afternoon. The waiter took over fifteen minutes to attend to us and take our order. I got the feeling that we weren't welcome to the terrace restaurant. The meals were good but average. When I requested the invoice for payment. The waiter told me that he was having a break. It took over twenty minutes for the waiter to attend to us to pay for our meal. Even though he attended guests at the table next to us. The location is fantastic. The actual hotel looks great. But I won't be returning to the restaurant again. This was my first visit to Lindau. The service provided at the restaurant wasn't inspiring. Next time I will go elsewhere. Where to staff are happy to serve you."

"A very positive experience. The hotel is located in a very quite area in Lindau, however close to the island. It keeps what mentioned on their web pages: room is nice and well equipped, bathroom is ok with a large shower, breakfast is plentiful and rich of sweets and savory, with fresh fruits that are different every day. To see it's more a house than a hotel, and this makes a positive difference in my opinion, because it makes you feel almost at home. And breakfast in the veranda is a great way to start the day. I definitely recommend it."

"We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The servers in the Cafe, Restaurant and Breakfast Room were prompt and efficient, the food was excellent and the Breakfast Buffet large and generous! I can recommend this Hotel for couples, Families, or Business Travellers. I have taught at a Hospitality School in Zurich for over 15 years, and am a professional business traveller with thousands of overnight stays and 10s of thousands of dining out experiences! "
