Indigo Hotels in Lingshui

This trip, I brought my parents and we stayed at both Indigo and Kimpton. We're back from Sanya, and here are my thoughts on the two hotels. The two hotels are adjacent, sharing public areas and breakfast. The Indigo's decor is youthful, stylish, and light-toned, while the Kimpton's is more business-like, 'old money,' and dark-toned. The overall room amenities felt quite similar, though Kimpton might have had a slight edge. Both hotels offer butler service, but overall, the Indigo's butler service was superior this time (our butler was Summer, and a huge thank you to her again!). Everything was well-arranged: room upgrade, welcome gifts, desserts, and daily greetings and service were all very prompt. At Kimpton, we often had to prompt them to get a response. The Kimpton was slightly more expensive and had more guests, which also meant slower service response times. Personally, I felt the Indigo offered better value for money. But both were good overall, and next time I'll try a suite at the Indigo. Another shout-out to our butler, Summer – absolutely amazing!
