The reception and hotel staff were very friendly and kind. the room was beautifully clean and modern. the only downside is that the door is right by the lobby and anyone sitting the lobby watching their phone or chatting can be clearly heard in the night.
the location is great, its very easy to get to the walking street and to the gate of the wall. thank you, overall it was a great stay

Good service attitude, free upgrade to king bed room. The alleys of the ancient town are small, and the public parking lot is not far from the B&B. It's very close to Ziyang Street, so you can take your time strolling around the ancient town at night.

The room might be on the first floor, and we saw ants crawling in the room. We were not told that there was a chess and card room upstairs, but we were assigned this room. The chess and card room upstairs is open for free until 10 pm, and the sound insulation is very poor. There is noise from moving stools, electric shuffling, and talking. You can't fall asleep before 10:10. We chose this old district homestay for its convenient location (close to nearby attractions) and the temptation of quietness in a bustling city, but we were so disappointed. We couldn't fall asleep until 12 o'clock last night because of insomnia. The room has only one window, and it's a bit hot and stuffy when it's closed, but the sound of talking and walking next door is very clear when it's open. The room rates during the Spring Festival are several times higher than usual. This price does not match the experience. I feel helpless for the first bad review.

The room is not on the main road, so it is relatively hard to find. The hotel has poor sound insulation. It is very noisy as long as someone gets up outside. Unfortunately, I encountered children playing outside the door early in the morning, which really forced me to get up.
