Frangipani Resort

Frangipani is the best! They have a prime location on Meads Bay with great beach service as well as an amazing restaurant called StrawHat. Attentive staff and service, and beautiful gardens. Like ourselves, they have many returning guests each year. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the Frangipani Beach resort December 2024- right after thanksgiving. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the staff was super friendly. We were able to get a beach palapa without a problem , even waiting until after 9AM every day. The beach is clean and has gorgeous water. You can walk to numerous restaurants for lunch, as well as to the Four Seasons. One of the best parts of the stay was the Straw Hat restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT (and I have been a few places!!) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate there at least 2 meals a day each day we were there. Service was friendly and like I said the food was over the top. Please don't ever take the asian salad off the menu!! The resort (and the island in general) is very quiet. If you're looking for something to do there are boat trips run by the resort, golf near by , and other water sports. We walked down to the Four Seasons, and although it was lovely for a drink (definitely do the sunset bar) we found it a little too stuffy for our taste. The warm and relaxing atmosphere of the Frangipani was exactly what we wanted. We'll be back next year!

We came to Anguilla looking for 3 things...White sand / Blue water/ Friendly people.We found all of these and so much more. We chose Frangipani on a friend's recommendation and are so happy we did. Overall the hotel had 'big resort' amenities ( beautiful pool /boats available / great restaurant -Straw Hat ) but truly felt like the boutique-smaller vibe that it has .Large room was steps from the beach . Staff was so friendly and accommodating -singling out awesome Rashid who skippered a boat trip on the hotel's boat -Frangicat ,around the island. Pretty much every guest we met at the pool / beach restaurant / hotel cocktail gathering has been to Frangipani countless times . We plan to join their ranks ! For those interested , there is a large food market just steps away .

For our first trip to this lovely resort, it met all our expectations and then some. It is no wonder why so many people we met are repeat guests, and yes, we re-booked for 2025, as well. We stayed in 8A one bedroom suite which was just superb. The view from the large balcony on the third floor, the furnishings and amenities were the best. I have included a few pictures. The staff is just wonderful but John, the Manager, is the best. He provided for a special accommodation to make our stay more comfortable which I greatly appreciated. Housekeeping is provided twice a day with special appreciation to Marylee (sp?) who is impeccable. The entire beach/pool and concierge staff is most accommodating. I loved the lap pool and used it almost everyday. Straw Hat has great food especially their breakfast. Restaurants are close by on the beach and offer a variety of cuisines. We liked Blanchard's Beach House and also took a taxis to Sharky's one night and, on another day, went to Rendevous at Tastys Beach House for an entire day on the Caribbean side of the island where the water is so calm and beautiful. The waves on the Atlantic side can be a bit rough getting out but the resort provides a rope line for more timid, older folks such as ourselves. We also enjoyed walking to the local grocery store which has everything and also to the Mill House Bistro for pastries and lunch. We took a 4 hour boat ride on the new Frangicat which was a highlight of our stay. Unlike other resorts we've stayed at, the pool is large and there is enough palapas and lounge chairs for everyone. While the resort is adding 8 more suites, I believe it will still remain as a intimate, boutique resort. The island itself is clean, has friendly people, no cruise ships, and some of the best dining venues anywhere. Needless to say we found our paradise.

I was so happy that I found The Frangipani Beach resort! I loved the idea that it is a smaller hotel. We had booked a “girlfriends” vacation and everyone in the group was impressed and happy. Once we checked in at the front desk by the beautiful spa pool, we were escorted to our villa and given a tour. Of course, as soon as we could, we all jumped into the ocean. The beach is spectacular. Once thing you will notice about Anguilla (and Mead’s Bay Beach) is how clean it is. We enjoyed our first night’s dinner at Straw Hat. I loved the simply grilled fresh red snapper and recommend. My friends loved their dishes as well. One had the vegetable gyoza dumplings and another had the seared honey rosemary pork chop. On another day, we enjoyed lunch at Straw Hat. It is a great place for lunch, too and the view of the water is spectacular. The staff at Frangipani made us feel like VIPs! I think it really is a wonderful place. Thank you Frangipani!

visited this beautiful hotel for 5 nights recently . where do I start ? . the beautiful meads bay beach wow . the beautiful hotel itself . the fantastic food from the straw hat restaurant . the wonderful staff .
