Location was great. Hotel owner are friendly and helpful. Hostel owner rice noodles was delicious. Highly recommended to anyone who are visiting.
Tip: if you are coming from Guilin, contact hotel prior to visit to arrange for transport.

A perfect hotel in a unique location, with excellent facilities. The owners are a humble and wonderful family. They were very attentive and friendly. They picked us up and dropped us off at the entrance, gave us great recommendations, and cooked delicious and very tasty food, so much so that we ate there for the three days we stayed. There are hotels nearby that seem more modern, but we were looking for a more local and family-friendly experience, and we definitely got it! We went on the recommendation of my brother, who had been there with eight Spanish friends six months earlier and they loved it too. We are very grateful for the family's welcome and will definitely return.

From the hotel's terrace and balcony, you have a beautiful view of the rice terraces. The owner is very nice and helped me a lot in finding a bus for the return trip to Guilin. The food is also excellent.

The hotel is run by a friendly family who offered us a drink in the evening. It's one of the first hotels you arrive at via the pedestrian steps from Dazai Village (we had trouble finding it at night).
We came during the low season and were practically the only tourists in the village. It was nevertheless peaceful to stroll through the rice terraces!

The lady boss is very kind. If you drive, it is close to the parking place, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there. It is also quite convenient to the Thousand-Layer Ladder Observation Deck. You can't take both into account. If you want to be close to the observation deck, you can't be close to the parking lot. The facilities in the B&B are also good. Overall, it is a good choice.
