"Amazing stay! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is delicious and they also offer good vegetarian options. The location is peaceful and quiet – you can sleep with the windows open and hear nature all around. Sitting on the balcony with the view over the rice terraces is truly special. I first stayed in a “90-degree view” room, which I wouldn’t really recommend, as it mostly faces another hotel. If possible, choose a room with a full terrace view – it’s absolutely worth it. A big plus: the staff even made sure I got on the right bus – without their help, I probably would have ended up in the wrong place. Overall, a fantastic place and great value for money. Highly recommended."

"The location couldn't be better, 300 meters to the Golden Buddha observation deck. When you go for a walk, you'll stroll down, then take the cable car up to the observation deck and then walk down a short distance to the hotel. The hotel is well-renovated, with clean, comfortable rooms and stunning views of the rice terraces. They match the photos. The staff is beyond reproach. They arranged a private transfer for us from Fenghuang, bought bus tickets to Yangshuo, drove us to the bus, and helped us board. The hotel has a good restaurant, and they serve complimentary local rice wine with dinner. Upon departure, they gave us a gift of local mushrooms and tea. The only thing worth noting is that the hotel doesn't have an elevator. However, they do help with luggage, so it's not a problem. For those who can't walk stairs, this place might be difficult."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owners (husband and wife team) were genuinely interested to make sure all our needs were taken care of; and that all our questions were answered promptly and correctly. We felt more like part of their family instead of some foreign hotel guests. The wife is a wonderful chef! She can cook and how! We ate almost every meal at this hotel. We were sad to leave. We highly recommend this hotel, it is situated mid way up the mountain, but if you stayed elsewhere high up, most days you will be enveloped completely with heavy fog and you wouldn’t see anything at all. Tell your DiDi driver to take you all the way to the bottom of the hotel and someone will come down to help you with the luggage."

"Our log cabin was incredibly comfortable, nestled halfway up the mountain and conveniently close to Viewing Platform #2. Our room even had a small balcony, and there's also a communal viewing deck on the ground floor offering truly stunning views. The owner was wonderfully hospitable, providing enthusiastic pick-up and drop-off service. And the meals were absolutely delicious!"

"Location: The hotel is situated in Jinfoding, one of the highest areas, very close to Observation Deck No. 3. My dad and I went to watch the sunrise early in the morning, and it only took a few minutes to get there. Rooms: We were traveling with family, including children and seniors, so we booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, which perfectly met our needs and made it easy to care for everyone. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and featured floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the terraced fields – the scenery was excellent. There was even an automatic mahjong table in the room, haha. Public Areas: The hotel has a new Chinese-style design, which is very tasteful. The first floor houses the restaurant and lobby, and the outdoor viewing platform is quite unique. Service: The owner was warm and hospitable. They contacted us multiple times via WeChat in advance to arrange pick-up and drop-off. Since it was the National Day holiday, there were many tourists going up the mountain. We drove ourselves and parked at the Dazhai car park, and the owner came down to pick us up. It was already quite late, so we pre-ordered our food on the way, and it was ready to eat as soon as we arrived at the hotel. The ingredients were excellent, and I particularly recommend the scrambled eggs – my child absolutely loved them. The owner also gave us some homemade rice wine. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and they took great care of our family, especially the children and seniors. Many thanks. Overall: Five-star review. "A lovely place for staycation. It was so serene and the view, looking at the rice terraces, replenishes one’s soul and relaxes not just your eyes but your whole body. I love the position of the bath tub overlooking the rice terraces and the nearby osmanthus trees. Morning walk along the path and seeing the ready smile of the locals was sweet. The bed and pillow are comfy and clean. Had we stayed for more than 2 nights, I would have used the washing machine in our room 😉 We had our breakfast, not much options but filling, and dinner (not included in the booking fee and the food in the menu are freshly cooked once you order) at the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel staff are accommodating. They even helped us arrange a car to bring us to and from the hotel. Free use of traditional costume for pictorial."

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the balcony is fantastic, offering views of the terraced fields, the sea of ​​clouds, and the sunrise. The housekeeper is warm and attentive, providing transportation up and down the mountain, recommending sightseeing routes, and paying attention to every detail. The food was a pleasant surprise, with bamboo-tube chicken, stir-fried bamboo shoots with cured pork, and homemade rice wine—all authentic mountain delicacies. Stay here in Longji and capture the beauty and warmth of your trip. Highly recommended! This was a healing journey gently enveloped by the terraced fields and the sea of ​​clouds. I love the rustic wood style. The owners are like family, and the meals are made with fresh, home-grown ingredients, full of genuine warmth and hospitality. "The landlady was incredibly welcoming and had an exceptionally good attitude. The hotel was new and very smartly equipped. You could watch the sunrise from your bed, and there was both heating and air conditioning. The bedding was clean and hygienic. The hotel is great for taking photos; the vantage points are fantastic, and all these photos were taken from those spots. I took thousands of pictures. I changed into four or five outfits – it exceeded my expectations! Highly recommended; it elevated my vacation experience to a whole new level."

"The room was very clean and tidy. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the scenic area. You can even see beautiful views from the hotel restaurant corridor! The owner is incredibly kind. When I arrived by car at Dazhai, the owner personally came to pick me up, and when I left, he saw me off. Since I was traveling alone, the owner invited me to eat with him and the staff, which was very touching and thoughtful. Choosing this guesthouse for visiting the Longji Rice Terraces is definitely the right decision!"

"This guesthouse at Jinkeng Dazhai, Longji Rice Terraces, was absolutely fantastic – a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, with great natural light and ventilation, making for a very comfortable stay. What truly blew me away was the 270-degree panoramic view; the terraced fields stretched out as far as the eye could see. Every photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine. The scenery, whether by day or at dusk, was so beautiful I didn't want to leave. The owners were incredibly warm and genuine. Not only did they provide transfers to and from the parking lot, but they thoughtfully drove us to a scenic viewpoint on the opposite mountain, saving us a tough climb. The food at the guesthouse was authentically delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The accompanying black tea was fragrant and had a pleasant aftertaste, and their homemade rice wine was excellent – potent but not headache-inducing. Breakfast was also thoughtfully prepared, exquisite and plentiful, offering a balanced and nutritious start to the day. Eating a hearty meal before exploring the terraces just elevated the whole experience. Before we left, I casually complimented their rice wine, and the owner surprisingly gave us an extra portion as a gift. This small, unexpected gesture really warmed my heart. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, breathtaking views, and delicious, worry-free food in Longji, this place is definitely the one to choose."
