Hotels in Longji Terraced Field-Ping'An Zhuang Village, Longsheng

Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯

The name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this! But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here. Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here.

The inn is very close to the Seven Stars with the Moon Observation Deck, less than 10 minutes' walk. The family room is large and has a loft, which is perfect for our family. The facilities inside are very good. It can be seen that the owner is very attentive to the decoration and maintenance. Finally, I would like to highly recommend the food cooked by the innkeeper’s mother-in-law. It’s really delicious!

This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it! The owner was incredibly kind and attentive. Noticing our heavy luggage, he immediately offered to help us carry it, displaying truly warm and thoughtful service. It offers excellent value for money; the rooms are well-equipped and incredibly comfortable. The location is also incredibly convenient, just a short distance from two scenic viewpoints, saving us a lot of travel time. Traveling with our child, we needed to extend our check-out by two hours, and the owner graciously agreed, showing immense understanding for the challenges of parenting on the go. He even surprised our child with their favorite passion fruit, which made them incredibly happy. Overall, our experience was flawless!

Mama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.  We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!  They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月! Highly recommend booking with them! ☺️👌🏼

This charming small town hotel was clean and nice with good good Wi-Fi, spacious rooms, and a good breakfast. But the best thing about this hotel was a beautiful couple who ran it. The woman was very kind and nice she was extra patient in dealing with the language barrier. She help plan all the logistics of helping me get around to see the rice terraces and to get me back to Guilin. I would highly recommend their hotel to anyone! 

The boss is very good. When we went up the mountain, we drove us to the parking lot and sent us to the parking lot when we went down. The luggage helped us mention the hotel. It rained that day, there were not many tourists, the boss helped us upgrade to a family room, the room had a balcony. The scenery outside the window is very good. On the left is the Kowloon Five Tiger Terraces, and on the right is the Seven Stars Banyue Observation Deck. It takes 10 minutes to get on both sides, which is very convenient. There is a billiard table in the hotel and children's toys. Adults and children have a great time. We also ate dinner and lunch in the store. Two large and two small meals were more than 100 yuan. The boss also invited us to drink his home-made rice wine, which was very sweet. Longji terraces are beautiful and the environment is very comfortable. Traveling these days in Yangshuo, Guilin, there are too many people there, crowded everywhere. The last day of the experience in Longji is the best, there are not many people, very quiet. I really want to stay here for one more day. But I have to go back to work! The last 6 photos were taken on the Qixing Banyue and Kowloon Five Tigers Observation Deck.

Thanks to the boss for the free room upgrade. The balcony of the family room can directly see the terraced fields. You can take photos of the Milky Way just walking out of the hotel door at night There is a washing machine available for free use

We went there at around 5pm. After the boss received us, he suggested that we put our luggage away and go see the rice terraces. It was still very bright and the weather was good at this time. The scenery during the day was unobstructed. The boss thoughtfully prepared a flashlight for us. , it was already dark when we went down the mountain, and we had a panoramic view of the night view. The food in the boss's shop was particularly delicious. He also gave us briefcases and home-brewed Longji wine, which were very delicious. The boss prepared exquisite preparations the next morning Breakfast, a simple local breakfast, I enjoyed it very much, the sweet potatoes were super sweet, and the bamboo tube rice is highly recommended! There are not many people staying, so the boss upgraded the room type. The balcony can see the terraced fields, and you can also hear the rushing water of the spring, which is a quiet way to relieve stress! Will come again next time, in a different season!
