"The scorching summer sun in Huangling highlights the advantages of staying within the scenic area. Rising at 6:30 AM each morning, you have plenty of time to explore Tianjie, Water Street, and the various core attractions before the tourists arrive. During the peak tourist season, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, you can return to the B&B to escape the sun and crowds. After 5:00 PM, you can enjoy a dip in the infinity pool, and after 8:00 PM, you can find food and enjoy the night view. The daily pace is just right, and the exertion is minimal. The B&B's service is also attentive, from the shuttle service to the daily sweet soup, which was very satisfying. Highly recommended."

"Stayed here in end Oct. Beautiful and spacious room with very comfortable bed and double pillows. Charging cables were provided. Room was initially hard to find due to skipping of room numbers. Wide variety at breakfast. Although more expensive to stay inside scenic area, it was great value considering that you get to explore the scenic area for 2 days. At night, we got to enjoy the night performances till late and return quickly to hotel to rest, in the early morning we got to enjoy a peaceful morning stroll around the scenic area before the day visitors enter. The hotel’s terrace was the perfect location for watching the fireworks display, away from the crowds. The fireworks display takes place every Fri and Sat at around 9.30pm."

"We were upgraded to a smart room, which was fully voice-controlled. The room was spacious, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable. We also enjoyed the welcome snacks, and it was my first time trying dried eggplant! Breakfast was extensive, and the rice noodles were particularly delicious. The hotel felt very grand, with a huge lobby that conveniently housed a mini-mart. We also had dinner there, which was quite good."

"Our room was incredibly spacious, featuring impressive high ceilings (around 4-5 meters), and it was wonderfully quiet. The package included either lunch or dinner, which was more than enough for 2-3 people, and the food was delicious. The butler service was exceptionally attentive; they offered great recommendations for local attractions and proactively asked about our toiletries needs. The hotel's ambiance was lovely, with a distinctly artistic and cultured feel. The facilities were also quite good, featuring a swimming pool and a garden, and it even had direct access to a nearby attraction."

"The room is spacious, bright, comfortable and clean. The view outside the window is nice. There is a shower and a bathtub in the room to meet different needs. The sofa and coffee table in front of the window are also highlights, where you can drink tea and chat comfortably. The customer service and the security guard at the door are very enthusiastic and responsive, which is worthy of praise. The slightly insufficient breakfast is that the fried dough sticks are too hard to bite. The noodles are cooked in advance and soaked in cold water. When eating, boil them in water. It is convenient and quick, but the noodles are soft and chewy. It is perfect with the fried dough sticks."

"We were on a six-day self-driving trip from Guangzhou to Jiangxi. A friend recommended this hotel, so we booked it in advance based on their suggestion, paying 330 yuan per night. Compared to the hotels we stayed at for the other four nights, this one was not only the most expensive but also by far the worst. The moment we stepped into the room, we were met with a strong, unpleasant foot odor. To make things worse, the toilet clogged twice, forcing my husband and me to use the lobby bathroom downstairs for 'number two' and the shower stall for 'number one'. The entire experience was simply terrible. We definitely won't be returning. In Nanchang and Ganzhou, we stayed in hotels for less than 200 yuan that offered spacious rooms, a great ambiance, and excellent service. For example, they even provided a full laundry service: collecting our clothes, washing, drying, and returning them, completely hands-off for us. This hotel, however, unbelievably only had two washing machines and one dryer! Honestly, you'd have to wait forever to get your laundry done, and then constantly supervise it to prevent others from stopping your cycle. When we checked out, we informed the front desk about the two toilet clogs. As an apology, they offered us a box of chrysanthemum tea."

"The hotel is in a prime location, Xiao Pan Xiao Tong has good service, and the rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. The entrance to the scenic area is on the right hand side of the hotel. The hotel's evening buffet group purchase price is just over 100 yuan, the dishes are relatively rich, there are also a lot of seafood, the quality is just okay, but don't expect too much given the price."

"Traveling with friends with children by car, all the way into the picture, because with children there are requirements for room hygiene and environment, carefully selected to Ginkgo Valley. The location is very good to find, the front desk and staff are very patient and enthusiastic, the proprietress just came out, it is really fate, actually and the name of Banniang is a word, laughing and talking about meeting separated sisters 😀. We chose the parent-child room. From the front desk, we walked all the way. It was clean and elegant. It seemed to be gently passed by the breeze and moonlight. The scenery outside the window was quiet. The ginkgo branches and leaves were swaying. We knew the sound. It was like playing a leisurely movement with nature. The room was beautiful. The room was clean and tidy, the small table at the door, the small tent in the room, the children played as soon as they entered, the hygiene was in place, the scenery outside the window was pleasant, and they could stay in the room for a day. The smile and care of the service staff are very warm; I want painkillers temporarily, and Ban Niang is too warm and attentive, and I have them. The facilities are exquisite and practical, with ingenuity everywhere. xiqn strolling under the ginkgo tree, drinking tea under the big lawn, time seems to be dyed fresh and elegant, full of comfort and joy."

"Family of 6 with 2 children and a young baby. The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage. We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort. The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up. On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's. A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about. By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open. It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre."

"I found a truly 'living' B&B in Wuyuan – 'Zai Shanye'. Originally an old power station from the 70s and 80s, it spans about 15 mu (approximately 2.5 acres). Its design is far from over-the-top, featuring expansive white walls with ample blank space and warm, natural wood. Like a clean canvas, it fully cedes the spotlight to the mountains, trees, clouds, and wind outside the windows, truly embodying the philosophy of 'letting trees be trees, and mountains be mountains.' The pure white minimalist architecture is as pristine as clouds in the mountains. It naturally acts as a reflector, making photos absolutely stunning! My phone kept clicking away, haha! The rooms are decorated in a Japanese style with warm-toned wooden furniture, making them incredibly cozy. Lying on the sofa, watching a movie, and gazing at the clouds drifting by outside the window – this moment truly feels unbelievably blissful! But! It’s far from being a 'coldly minimalist' space! There's also a wealth of dining and entertainment options! **Lazy Afternoon Tea Time:** Enjoy freshly ground coffee, creative special blends, and exquisite teas, along with fried chicken, fries, pizza, and other snacks. Daydreaming while facing the mountain view is incredibly therapeutic! **Tipsy Moments in the Mountains:** Savor a drink with fried snacks, accompanied by mountain breezes and the chirping of insects. Chatting about life with the girls, it’s unbelievably pleasant! **Camping BBQ Box:** No need to prepare anything yourself; just grab it and head to the lawn or terrace to start a mountain BBQ party! **Authentic Local Dinners:** A must-try for Wuyuan's specialty dishes! Ingredients are super fresh: free-range chickens raised on-site, vegetables picked fresh from their garden. You can truly taste the authentic flavors! Highly recommend the 'Fish Head Stew with White Tofu Soup' – the taste is incredibly, incredibly delicious and rich in umami. **Evenings are far from boring:** **7:30 PM: Bonfire + Outdoor Movie!** Gathering around the bonfire to watch a movie under the starry sky – romance levels off the charts! **Billiards Challenge:** Have a friendly match with friends. Sitting around the crackling bonfire, with the starry sky as your ceiling, watching an old movie – what an absolutely magical night! **My personal thoughts:** Staying here feels like living inside a dynamic landscape painting. Perhaps just sitting, listening to the mountain breeze, and watching the stars is beautiful enough. It offers the rustic charm of the wilderness, combined with the convenience and warmth of modern living. Here, nature truly is the eternal protagonist. Enjoying the tranquility of the mountains during the day, bonfire movies at night. My eyes feasted on the scenery, and my palate and spirit were utterly satisfied.
