The hotel is dated to say the least. In a nut shell don't book here. Water pressure is nonexistent, no plugs, cleaners not great, seems to just smear something out on surfaces. The beds are rock solid, and this was after I upgraded to a suite in the hope the room was better. . (Nope) The food preparation is awful, nearly Choked on squid that still had the membrane on (see photo). The food is cold, but don't worry they have one microwave. I expect some food the same each day, but not most days. Best thing was fresh pitta baked for lunch, but they last 20ins so don't be late The waiting staff don't give a crap, have to get most of the stuff yourself as they are busy talking, they have no pepper, and salt is one to 10 tables. . You get a time share of about 1 minute then it's needed elsewhere. Food is overcooked from the grill, how I don't know, had to instruct one cook to turn my eggs before they turned to crisp. If you are British this place is not for you, mainly French and German. If you want a bed, get up at 7am, otherwise there are none. Most communal toilets don't flush or have paper, so stay close to your room, as we all got Tunisian tummy here

Firstly let me say the transfer was at least 4 hours from the airport that we flew into. Arrived at 5am in the morning after a quick check in we were taken to our room. When we got to the room we were pleasantly surprised we had a suite which was unexpected but a nice surprise. Room was lovely sea view couldn't have asked for more. The hotel was spotless the staff were friendly and helpful. The food well as a fussy eater myself I still managed to eat something everytime .The waiters were great cleaned tables very quickly fresh water on table at every meal. Would I go again yes but fly into a closer airport.

Really comfy beds, great staff, clean rooms and lovely pool. Food is ok could do with more selection for English- beach is stunning and definitely worth getting up for the sunrise as its stunning! Would happily stay again - staff and locals are lovely

We are here now and having the best time. For any doubters, forget the negative reviews, we absolutely love it. Rooms are adequate, food is good as are the drinks. Entertainment is fantastic and everyone of more than friendly. Still 7 days left and loving every minute. Well recommended.

Just came back from Mahdia yesterday, 28/09/24, this was a girls trip. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!! We landed on Saturday 21st September and then changed hotels on the Monday due to conditions of the rooms. We had to pay an extra £350 for the change so ended up only having a 5 day holiday and initially paying for 7. The rooms are very neglected and not clean at all. The last straw for me was waking up the first morning to a cockroach walking across the bath, the hotel changed our room but wasn’t any better. We had to spend 2 nights there and with very little Wi-Fi only couldn’t contact our holiday rep. We moved to the one resort al mansour which was so much cleaner and nicer.

Don’t let marketing photos fool you. This hotel was downgraded to a 4 star but won’t accept it. While the pool and beach areas are good and the buffet at dinner is excellent (breakfast was average), this hotel is not a 5 star when you considered accommodation & service. My room: toiletries were open, bed poorly made, tv decades old, soiled linen, the bath took longer than 10 minutes to drain after my shower & each time I wanted to access my room, reception had to let me in because the key wouldn’t work. It was also still dirty and the chair falling apart. The wifi is only available in the foyer. Reception yelled at me because I had a 2 litre bottle of water with me and they have water available at the bar. Don’t forget you have to wear a wrist band.

This hotel definitely is not 5 stars maybe 2 stars. Just I'm back from there and was very bad holiday. Entrance nice beach nice but the rooms very oribil dirty no pillow cover no fridge no kettle no clean towels bathroom very dirty and old. Food same every day and not fresh. Drinks very poorly. I was very disappointed because I expected to be nice like 5 stars but not. Staff not friendly. This picture is from my room 521. I asked more people there and 99% said was like a shok for them because normally for 5 stars you expect nice and clean. Entertainment so so . Never back there

Great expiriance,great show and performance,great animators and people.Perfect beach,pools etc.You can eat and drink a lot .Rooms can get little bit improvement, after all from us recomendation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very happy, read awful reviews before coming and I need to say some people are just d…s It’s a poor country with a 5 star hotel which means it’s really a 2-3 in Europe You get exactly what you pay for and our stay was fabulous and yours will be too if you take a stick out of your butt. Staff is great, friendly and will do anything for you ,they really try their best with limited resources. We wanted for nothing during our stay. If you want luxury and fluffy towels go and book most expensive one. But at the end of the day you will be under exactly the same sun surrounded by the same people. We will be back in October :) Josseff - big thanks for all the superb activities:) Ps. Please be nice to locals - seen loads of rude behaviour towards staff which is totally unacceptable. Simple please and thank you :) Or be like us :) we know most of staff by name now great way of exploring and widening your horizons:) Learning about culture and having a great crack
