Upon arriving at the hotel, the doorman or the person stationed outside was not very proactive. When our car arrived, he simply stood and watched, waiting for my husband to open the trunk before approaching to help with our bags. There were no smiles or greetings; instead, he plainly asked, ”Have luggage, sir?” At the reception, however, the agents were polite, and Ian made the check-in process smooth and efficient. Entering our room, we found it to be decent but slightly outdated. The bathroom was okay, but we noticed hair on the bed, and the headboard emitted a faint odor that became noticeable while lying down. The air in the room felt somewhat enclosed, which raised doubts about the cleanliness. The next morning at breakfast, the staff were very friendly, but the food left much to be desired. The pancakes appeared greasy, misshapen, and unappealing, as though prepared by someone inexperienced. While the other food options were alright, the limited variety made the experience less enjoyable, and we ended up eating very little—a shame given the cost. Overall, while the service helped salvage our stay, the hotel clearly has room for improvement in several areas.

Food was excellent, service also excellent, room are clean only the pillows are very soft , bed is perfect , location is close to the shops , also the people are very accomodating n friendly

This is my 4th weekend here. Always a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff always overdeliver ans they are customer centric. If you need a good natural light, choose Room A B and C.

The hotel was clean and accessible to nearby resto and groceries. The staff are also helpful and very accommodating. Will definitely book again this place.

We had an amazing experience at New World Makati Hotel. The staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Makati—and the facilities were clean, modern, and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service.

Our stay was fantastic! The entire place was spacious and exceptionally clean. They also attended my request for a birthday greeting for my dad who was celebrating his 65th bday. I can't wait to stay here again!

Location and what’s inside the room: Among all the hotels I've stayed at in Makati, Seda stands out as a solid choice with a great surrounding area. It's safe to walk around even at night, with numerous dining options just 50 meters from the entrance. The hotel is nice, and with the lobby on the 19th floor, you can enjoy unobstructed views from your room. Our room was on the 30th floor, offering a fantastic view. The toiletries are of good quality, unlike the cheaper options found in other hotels, and they also provide bathrobes and high-quality slippers. This hotel is more of a residence-style accommodation, ideal for longer stays, as it includes a full set of kitchen appliances (toaster, microwave, induction cooker, kettle, rice cooker, and a fully stocked fridge), along with an iron and hairdryer. They also offer a self-service laundry facility in a designated area. Breakfast: Breakfast is available depending on your booking, and if not included, it costs 899 per adult and 450 for kids. The food selection is decent, but the best parts are the fruit & yogurt section and the bread selection. The rest of the offerings are fairly standard. The breakfast area is located on the 35th floor, so you can enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding skyscrapers while dining outdoors. Facilities/Amenities: There’s a game room, gym, playroom, and an outdoor pool with a great view. However, the pool feels a bit lackluster and doesn’t have a lifeguard on duty, making it less ideal for children. My kid typically loves pools, but he found this one boring. It could definitely be improved to make it more inviting and enjoyable. Parking: FREE parking on first come first serve basis. The staff are friendly, location is great, but this time the room cleanings were not good enough, the carpet need to be replaced and clean also I asked the housekeeper to change bed sheets because it has a black stains. I booked the room for almost a week and last night I found letter from room head same like you don’t have the right to ask for late check out although I didn’t request it, it wasn’t very nice and I replied to him already. In front of the hotel a heavy sound of construction work.

I had a really good stay, and it was actually 4 nights. I really like the pool, and the hotel location is super close to Glorietta, Greenbelt, and Landmark malls. Housekeeping was great, and front desk staff (thank you Cyrus) were kind and very helpful with information. The only one thing is that hotel is a little bit older, as could be seen with some of the wooden paneling and desk. In addition, the light switches were a bit confusing sometimes, and the carpet could use a change soon. However, the shower was hot and strong, and the overall room was very functional, with a LOT of storage space/options in the room. All facilities like the pool, the gym, and the restaurants looked great, and the lobby lounge is beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, and I can’t see myself looking for another hotel choice unless a competitor is offering a massive promotion. This is a great hotel in my opinion.
