Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel

I arrived to the hotel at 10 and the lady in the reception told us to go and do the Omra and come back to get the rooms, I am a gold Fairmont member which was treated badly. We came back at 2:30 and noticed that the rooms are not ready and have been told that the check in time is 4PM, however before one day of arrival they called me to ask me what time do I want the room to be ready. Each customer receptionist was directing me to another where this wasn’t practical at all, image I was awake more than 12 hours and at the end of the day each on just throws me. Then after having a fight we got the rooms finally, I get to know that one of the rooms is full of insects and the other room is noisy from the neighbors. When I called to tell the reception after several fights they changed both rooms, we had to wait more than 15 minutes for the escalators. Overall my experience with this hotel is really baaaaaaad and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The only positive point was that it’s few steps to the Haram other than that nothing is worth it at all, even when you speak to someone from the receptionist they don’t reply as of they don’t listen and in my case I am a gold member plus trip advisor level 6, how if I was a normal guest what would happen. They made my day very hard and miserable

Very clean & new hotel. Big rooms with bright furniture & very nice street view. Hotel offers free shuttle to haram but with tight schedules. It’s about 10 min drive from haram. Very good price for the hotel high standards. Friendly staff.

The breakfast is ok, because I have lived before, so I know it is not as good as before, the rooms are clean, and the waiters are good, but the bar is really difficult to communicate, can I study English seriously? I feel like they don’t understand if you hurry up hahaha
Infinity Hotel Makkah

We have been here for the 2019's Hajj. I actually can't think of anything positive about this hotel. Quadriple room is small and you get the feeling that is not really genuine quadriple. Location is not the best; it is not far(900m) but you can still get better deals closer to the Haram. The hotel is extremely disorganised, they are clearly not prepared for busy seasons. Room service is poor; you need to call them to get your room cleaned. Food quality was terrible in the first few days but got a bit better after we complained. Going up and down by the left was an absolutely nightmare; we had a large Tunisian group staying with us with massive chaos around the left areas almost all day long. I had no hit water in my room in the last couple of days and I had to shower with cold water!
M Hotel Al Dana Makkah by Millennium

I have to say that I am enjoying my stay in M Al Dana by Millennium. The location is very nice, less than 10 min. By bus which the hotel is providing 24 hrs every 30 min. To/from Haram, and also many restaurant and big super market around the hotel. The room is spacious and has everything you need, such as safe box, iron and ironing table, tea and coffee tray..etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful, special thanks for Azza who is very professional and thanks for her warm welcoming. They have restaurant and food options which I didn't try.
