Disgraceful & rude behaviour from a male staff member towards my 24yo daughter last night, who had travelled alone from Perth arriving at night, she had booking confirmation paperwork and was treated with total hostility and told she did not have a booking and sent out in a strange place in the dark. He continued to be rude when it was followed up this morning and he was in the wrong, yet still no apology from anyone at this “resort”.

We were very disappointed with our stay. For $400 per night, we expected a much higher standard. The fridge was inoperable, with a spare one awkwardly placed in the lounge. There was visible mould on electrical devices and in the shower, and the curtains were made of a plastic material that was in a questionable state. Even more concerning, some appliances had exposed wires, which surely would not meet safety regulations. To top it off, there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, presumably from the previous guests. While we received a $200 refund, this unit should never have been offered in its current condition.

We were taking our friends on a four holiday to relax & enjoy together. The experience was embarrassing, my friend spent most of her time cleaning! This room has not had a proper clean for a very, very long time- all surfaces had sticky, dirty grime over them. Glass tables were smeared with dirt, grime & fingerprints, underneath & on top. Bedside lamps were broken, curtains hanging off the rods. Kitchen cupboards haven’t been wiped out in years, minimal crockery/cutlery, a dangerous broken drinking glass on the shelf, pots & pans with burnt & peeling Teflon coatings, baking dishes with old baked on burnt residue. grey towels, 1 tea towel for 4 days which we had to use as a cleaning cloth! Carpets were unvacuumed and stained. Lifts were grubby as well! Obviously there are no room & contents checks completed between guest stays but they are super quick to get their payment up front before your stay! The best part of the stay was observing the migrating whales off the coast and they came for free!
