Riad Dar Mamouni

We loved this riad. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The breakfast is quite good, there is mâmem, bread, jams, butter, honey, coffee, milk and tea. The rooms are just like in the photos, beautiful. They have everything you need, they also have a hair dryer. The garden and the terrace are also very nice. Close to Plaza Jmma el Fna and about 20 minutes from the Majorelle Gardens. There are security cameras. It is a fairly quiet riad. They also offer beauty products and excursions. If you want to have lunch or dinner at the riad you can do that too. We had a personal problem so we had to change the dates of the trip and they didn't give us any problems and they made the date change totally free. They adapt to you, anything you ask for they will give you. For 20 euros they can pick you up at the airport. I would definitely repeat.

The first thing I will remember about this stay at dar mamouni is the incredibly warm welcome from Abdel and the “little lunch girls”. They brought us all the necessary gentleness in the tumult of Marrakech. A haven of peace. I would like to emphasize the cleanliness of the rooms. It's super pretty, just like in the photos honestly. The alleys that border the riad, the "derb" impressed us a lot at first, because we were two girls. We realized towards the end of our stay that everything was lit up at night. Well, to find us, maps is our best friend 🤣🤣🤣 The breakfasts are generous, the dinners even more so! 10 minutes walk from the famous square and Koutoubia. I would like to thank the whole team again. From the first moment, the host was always very attentive, helpful and generous with us. This generosity was even more noticeable when we had an incident that left us without dinner and little money. We told the host what happened and were going to order a salad for both of us, as it was cheaper. When we went to dinner, the man had prepared a feast for us (a salad for each, bread, chicken and tea) and didn't accept any money. Throughout our stay, they also offered us tea and cookies. In addition to this, he also taught us how to make mint tea. We had asked about the ingredients and, instead of just explaining, the host actually showed us how it was made. During our stay we had 2 different rooms and both were very clean. We loved everything about the hotel and we were received in an incredible way, we really felt welcomed, as if we were at home. The only thing we would change would be the location of the hotel, because despite being very close to Jemaa el-Fna, the street on which it was located is not very busy, which became, in a way, more dangerous at night, even though several streets have cameras. As we were just a couple, after the incident that occurred we chose not to go out at night for that reason. Apart from this, we 100% recommend the hotel and, if one day we return, even if we don't stay at this hotel, we will certainly go there to visit the host to whom we are very grateful and who made our trip much more beautiful!
