Rainbow Golf Bungalows, Gay Men-Only Resort

Absolutely fantastic holiday we have just had at Rainbow Golf. The reception staff, bar staff, house keeping and owners were absolutely outstanding and couldn’t do enough to. Take our holiday one of the best in a long time. Bungalows were immaculate, beds were comfortable, pool and bar areas were also perfect. Can’t wait till my next visit.

Me and my partner always book here when coming to gran canaria and once again, we were not disappointed. The bungalows are clean, well presented and perfect for couples or for a solo travellers. They are cleaned daily, by friendly, courteous staff. The resort itself is quiet, immaculately clean and it's clientele are all lovely aswell. It was a 10/10 last time and this time it's the same. Love it and will, of course be back again at the next available opportunity

Fantastic little property! Staff and owners are wonderful people that make you feel totally at home. They care very much for the accommodation and it’s kept to a very high standard. I had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location. It’s only a 10 minute walk into town (Yumbo) and 45 minutes to the beach on foot. There is a supermarket 2 mins walk away. Big thank you to Antonio and his partner who are amazing and to all the team that took care of me. Will deffo be back again !! Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

As with all first visits we were a bit unsure what to expect as sometimes you do need to relax and chill out. We wondered if it might be banging (excuse the pun) from morning till going out time, but no it was relaxed, quiet, serene and just what we needed after working hard through bloody Covid. It was a great mix of ages and nationalities with a really friendly crowd and because it is not a big rambling complex it is more intimate and community like. Antonio and Michael could not have been more helpful throughout the full fortnight. They were there to help and this they did with professionalism and friendliness. Cannot fault them. Their little team of housekeeping again were faultless in their tasks keeping bungalows in order, towels and bedding replenished when they say it will be. Although we did not use the laundry service I will do so on our next return as this was fairly priced. Michael sorted out our boat trip which was well worth the money and a lovely day again we would do this again. On checking in our Covid documents were checked which I found assuring that they do care about their guests health and well being. Although do so hope this will not be needed in 2023. The bungalow was pleasant and cosy for a 2 week stay with everything you would need. The Yumbo is about a 15 minute walk which was no problem but far enough away not to interfere with the tranquillity of the complex and its surrounding neighbourhood. Shop just across the road so getting provisions is easy. Also the bar sell large water so you don't have to hike that back with you. Check out is around noon but they do have a little shower room for you to shower and change if your flight is later in the day and they provided towels so guest comfort is provided for. I am looking at flights for next year as we would return to the rainbow as we like Maspalomas but don't really like the bigger complexes as our Diva days are long gone:-) For any couple wanting a nice relaxed, friendly and safe holiday complex you really must try the rainbow. A perfect hotel / apartment venue. Very friendly staff with a big shout to Micheal. Always happy to help and very good with doing the clothes washing. I would say though the rooms do need a bit of loving to bring them up to date. Some scuffs on the walls. The bathroom shower doors very flimsy. The bed is two singles which can be frustrating. The overall size of the place is perfect for smaller venue. Definitely pay for the air con rooms especially in the peak heat season. The bar is small but has all you need for afternoon drinks. There is now a dark room in place instead of the gym so alternative work out I guess. The place is clean and tidy. But some things could do with a bit of loving.

Where do I start? This was our first visit and it certainly will not be the last. Amazing place, residents were lovely. The staff are the sweetest. Very Clean. It was nice to visit a place outside of the UK where we could be ourselves without judgement from anyone. Every person we met on our stay was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, always happy and always smiling and of course you have the most amazing weather year round. We are currently booking our next stay.
