"A descent place but i will not agree that its value for money not for the property but asking for money for every small thing is too much of capitalism. If u can not even give a coffee or tea for free it is too much to ask for at this price point. Also is getting old and it shows on the property. It seems one day hotel like these will also start charging for the amount of air u breathe in there property. Not good hospitality and mentality. Stupid capitalist thinking"

"The hotel is in a good location. The buffet dinner was extensive, but the quality of the food wasn't great. Many items didn't look fresh, and the hot dishes were cold in the warming plates, so it seems the warming plates weren't working properly. There was also a lot of gossiping among the staff, which wasn't ideal."

"Fantastic choice! If you’re looking for a cool and calm atmosphere, this hotel is beautifully located and perfect for first time travelers. Although it’s a bit far from the main town, Maspalomas has its own charm, with many fun spots within walking distance. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel in a great location, oh wow! The rooftop bar with the scenic views… I highly recommend hotel faro for tourists and first time visitors. Keep it up!"

"Beautiful resort, stylish and relaxing. I had a front pool room and was perfect apart they don’t have queen or king size bedrooms. I slept very bad, the 2 single beds (not even attached to each other) and pillows are very uncomfortable. Hope they’ll invest in comfort , I would definitely come back."

"Location of the hotel, rooms, room service and breakfast very good. The dinner (buffet) was acceptable. The first A la Carte booked was good, the second one was canceled the evening before (restaurant closed?). What was noticeable, however, was that most of the dishes and glasses/cups in the restaurant were not completely washed. In this respect, unfortunately, a point deduction."

"Axel Beach Maspalomas We stayed 5 nights in room 123. The room was nice apart from 2 flaws:  * the drying rack on the balcony didn’t stay up (used a chair to solve that) * the plumbing in the bathroom smelled at various points, impossible to predict, and near impossible to easily fix… (luckily it never dropped below 20 degrees so we always left a window open) Aside from this our stay was very enjoyable. We didn’t take the breakfast option as there’s enough little shops around, and a fridge, hot plate and microwave (and plates, Dolce Gusto, cutlery) in the room. Staff is super friendly and accommodating, used the gym and laundry room, hung out by the pool several times, chatted and more. In this price category it’s well located, well staffed, and fairly priced."

"Everything was great. The room was cleaned every day. We accidentally broke a shelf in the closet, but they quickly fixed it without any problems. The balcony had a beautiful view. It's located a 15-minute walk from the ocean, with tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. The renovations are a bit dated overall, but that's a minor detail. The food was good. Overall, we were very satisfied."
