This is the 2nd consecutive time , we went to Maritim Hotel and Spa for the end of year and welcome the new year 2025 . Almost every day we were welcomed into a new atmosphere. the hotel has a Magic atmosphere around its charming and smiling staff. The Regional Director masters his operations. We are delighted with various restaurants and cuisine....from buffet to Fine cuisine. The turquoise sea and amazing sunset white beaches are impressive.. The staff were very very charming and welcoming at thru our stay.. The New Year Buffet and Firecrackers on the beach were exquise. It was a very good mix of rest and quality time .

The Beach Party was an amazing event. We danced until 3am. Just awesome. Beside a lot of others ( I couldn’t collect all names unfortunately), let me give a special appreciation to Iswhware sarita Rakesh at la maree Naresh at the beach bar. 3 days of total disappointment. Will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. 3 hours to check in properly due to wrong room allocation. Took them 3 hours to sort. Our room had dirty bed linen - evidence was sent by email and not addressed until 2 days later. Our rooms were upgraded due to the the error of 2nd room that was requested to be a Twin but set as a double - our first room stunk of sewage and they tried to use bleach and a humidifier to rid the smell which did not get any better....... however, when moved to an upgraded room this is where the dirty bedlinen was found which was totally unacceptable. We paid for a buffet evening meal which was totally not to standard - the choices limited and not variable and no second servings once they ran out for value for money vs the quality of food was poor for a 5* resort. A spa experience was booked for 3 for our last day only to find on arrival it had been booked for 2 only - which meant I missed out so my grown kids could enjoy. After rounding up all our complaints we were offered a late check out without charge. For a 3 day stay 1 of which we were offsite for a family wedding all day - our limited time was not relaxing at all - we spent half of our time resolving issues - if we could have been granted with a refund in hand on our first day rather than having to wait for refund to clear via our bank we would have left to find an alternative resort as the price paid would have got us somewhere better for cheaper in hindsight. Whilst the staff were apologetic - 3 days full of apologies and at times faking through the smiles - this is not the experience we wanted to end our stay on such a beautiful island that we want to call home away from home.

Hotel wise very nice n cosy. Helpful staffs namely Sanjeev and Dhruv Bellboy. La maree resto Fabrice and Ishwaree very attending. Pool bar staff as well as chef Marday. Overall our stay was amazing. We shall be back soon. Wish Maritim hotel Resort&Spa good luck. Cheers

From the front desk to the staff in each department, these are people who are so passionate and have an incredible dedication to their work. They are the ones who will make us coming back again. I highly recommend this place and I would have liked management to take very good note of the people we are going to mention Starting with the reception Mr Manoj, Mr Kishen and the ladies. The F & B Director Mr. Kumar Ramnauth a gem with a very down-to-earth heart and his team,The Supervisors and waiters Mithun, Fabrice, Ishwaree a very caring heart, Roopesh and the carryboy. Each of the people we met during our stay apologize if we have forgotten some names.I thank the management and staff for their attentive, friendly and exceptional service especially for our room. Arrived at the hotel and received the most warm welcome, hotel reception definitely has the WOW factor with the view! Great staff that really go above and beyond, especially Oodiye at the main bar, what a star!, and all the staff over at La Maree. Lucky enough to stay in a junior suite so had the benefit of breakfast daily on the beach at La Maree too. We had room 566 and although there was a large private function on at the top end of the estate, we could not hear any noise from inside our room so this was not an issue. I was concerned after reading some of the reviews prior to arrival, however I soon realised that there was no need to be concerned as everything is clearly labelled on menus what is included in the none premium All Inclusive. We did consider upgrading on day 1, however it really wasn’t required as there was a great selection of drinks including wine, sparking wine, local beer and cocktails etc. The only restaurant that I feel should have a better selection of starters on the All Inclusive menu is the Asian Restaurant as the starter choice was extremely limited, however you could opt to purchase alternatives. Enjoyed a lovely meal at Anno 1773, not included in the All Inclusive, however it was really enjoyable as a change of scenery for the night. Loved the atmosphere with the DJ and perhaps the hotel should think about bringing him down to the main hotel for a night. Thank you Maritim for a lovely holiday, we hope to return soon.

Our 4th visit to this wonderful resort and we can say nothing but good things about the hotel itself, the location, the food and choice of restaurants and most importantly all the frienly and highly efficient staff; especially Ishwaree, Sarita, Fabrice and Rakesh at the wonderful La Mare beach restaurant, and the amazing Jay whose service and attention on the beach is second to none! Jay is supported perfectly by the delightful Bachoo. On arrival and during our stay the welcoming and friendly front of house staff continue to make our stay so pleasurable. Special mention of Cherina, Vemah and Chiara who go out of their way to welcome us back and look after our every need. We must also mention two other long standing members of staff in the Belle Vue restaurant: the charming Vimla and Dannette. All of this super team is overseen by Kavita and ultimately where the buck stops with charmingly reassuring Antje. We'll definitely be back!
