"The hotel has its own beach, which is great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the check-in wait was too long, even though there weren't many guests checking in at the time. The restaurant was very crowded, but the food selection was limited and the taste was average; you could just fill your stomach. The streetlights inside the hotel were insufficient at night, making it quite dark."

"The hotel's value for money is excellent for a four-star hotel. Just around the right turn from the hotel is one of the best beaches on the island, with a small section of reef for snorkeling. The food was great; you could find everything you need. I wasn't particularly impressed with the a la carte restaurants, except for the steakhouse, but it's hard to get a reservation. I didn't like the Indian restaurant at all. The entertainment was also rather modest, but we don't go to those "shows" anyway; it's fine for us. The room was clean, and if you request it in the app, they'll bring you anything you might need, even slippers and a toothbrush. There are some downsides, of course: the glasses at the pool bar are a bit tacky, and the towels you get in the room and on the beach are sometimes threadbare, but that's if you're really looking for something to complain about. There's absolutely nowhere to go in the area on foot. Overall, everything met our expectations. We had a great time."

"This is my second hotel in Mauritius. The front desk service wasn't as good as the Hilton. There was no welcome drink upon arrival, so I just had to wait. There seemed to be more mosquitoes than at the Hilton, and the outdoor pool felt a bit dirtier than at the Hilton. Their restaurant is large and has a wide variety of dishes, but the flavors weren't to my liking, like the odd-tasting fried noodles and the overly sweet barbecued pork buns. The service at the Deer Hunter restaurant was good, but reservations had to be made a day in advance. The decor is magnificent. Overall, I had no disappointments, but I haven't given it a rave review."

"1. **Service:** Compared to St. Regis, the service here is simply no match. The staff's attitude was quite average. Whenever I needed to communicate a request, like booking a restaurant or water activities, they'd tell me to download some app, which turned out to be very difficult to use. 2. **Room:** The room was quite spacious, with a minimalist design, and the bathroom was very clean. Overall, the room was good. 3. **Beach Environment:** It was very windy. I had heard this place was directly facing the 'underwater waterfall' and thought its unique location would offer something special. I saw many people flying drones during sunset, and you can indeed see the underwater waterfall. However, if you're just looking for a convenient spot to fly a drone, I don't think staying here is necessary. The kitesurfing spot (Kite Lagoon) is very close to the hotel, and you could probably go there instead. 4. **All-Inclusive:** All three meals and all beverages, including those in the room, were included. But the quality was quite average; the drinks were acceptable. 5. It's relatively close to the Le Morne hiking trail. 6. **Sports Center:** It closed quite early, around 4:30 PM. There weren't many people signing up for activities either; it seemed most guests were into kitesurfing."

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius, and their experience was truly memorable. The staff throughout the resort were warm, welcoming, and always eager to assist. A special mention goes to Mrs Sherina and Mrs Usha from the Front Office for their kindness, professionalism, and attentive support during the stay. The culinary experience was equally impressive, with a varied and delicious buffet / à la carte offered daily. Kudos to Chef Ramphul of Belle Vue Restaurant and Chef Boojawon of La Marée Restaurant for the quality and consistency of the food. Special thanks as well to Head waiter Rakesh of La Marée, along with the dedicated kitchen support staff, whose efforts greatly enhanced the food experience. The rooms, public areas, and gardens were impeccably maintained, reflecting the high standards of the resort. The daily evening entertainment was diverse, lively, and thoroughly enjoyable. We would also like to particularly acknowledge Mr Krishna Sanmuthiya, the newly appointed Resort Manager and Director of Operations. His constant presence throughout the resort and his daily interactions with guests made everyone feel genuinely welcomed. He is living proof of a results-oriented manager committed to excellence and guest satisfaction. As a small suggestion, we would love to see traditional Mauritian pancakes reintroduced to the breakfast buffet — a local touch that would make the experience even more special. Thank you to the entire Maritim team for making this stay such a pleasant and memorable one."
