Mulranny Park Hotel

We had the most incredible 3 course meal at Nephin Restaurant! The food was absolutely outstanding! The menu was so varied and all local produce! Everything was so fresh and packed full of flavour. We also had a beautiful selection of fresh breads served with our starters. There was an incredible selection of wines also! The service was 5 star. The staff all so welcoming, friendly and attentive! I honestly can not recommend enough. Such a delicious, relaxed meal in the most beautiful setting. What a stunning restaurant. I can not wait to return.

I organised a 4 day conference at the Mulranny Park Hotel from September 2 to 5. We were in touch with them for over a year as we planned our event and I can't praise them enough. It is such a beautiful location and everything was perfect and our delegates were all extremely happy. We had all our lunches with them, one dinner and the coffee breaks. The food was perfect and the service was top class. They couldn't do enough for us. I would especially like to thank Asta and Yurata for all their help with the organisation and management and Orla who looked after us so well in the restaurant.

The staff in the restaurant were so good. Friendly, personable and attentive. They treated my teenagers with such respect particularly the older lady but the younger girls were so nice and professional too. The view . Stunning. The location of this hotel is perfect-we surfed in achill on day one, visited Westport adventure park and shopped in Westport on day two.

Just back from a lovely family break. Wonderful hotel, lovely rooms, great staff, great leisure centre, sauna and gym. We biked on the greenway, visited the Wild Nephin National Park Visitor Centre and enjoyed all the local sites. Also eat out in local restaurants which were also great. Highly recommended.

I wanted a hotel within walking distance to beach mainly for my mum who is in her 70's with arthritis in her knees. Main reason so that when I was in pool with kids she could go for walk along beach which she loves to do. Hotel said few steps away from beach, well their few steps and my few would be 2 different fews. I knew there were steps at front of hotel but they also have side walk where you can avoid those steps. So as I take a drive along to see how to access beach etc and get our bearings when we arrive I was highly disappointed to see the access and the few steps to beach. I was absolutely gutted, there must be at least 50 steps to go down before you arrive on a little rocky path and then a fair walk over to beach but not ideal for someone in their 70's with arthritis!!!!! We did do it 1 day and walked back to hotel by road, but it was too busy to do that walk with kids I felt. Room was awful. I booked seaview room, again for my mum to enjoy, it was awful. Paint peeling off walls above window really bad and no curtains on any windows. It looked like there had been water damage. They had roller blind which when I went to close at night, it was broken. I had to go down to reception to get the barman to come up and try to close blind for us. Carpet was grubby. Tiles were coming off bathroom wall under sink. We got overchaged in bar 1 night. On a positive note, staff were friendly, food was good but definately will not be back at this hotel for a stay unfortunately!!

This is a wonderful hotel. Lots of charm and has had a lovely makeover during the past few months being closed for Christmas etc. Loving the paint colours and the small eating area off the bar which is now being used as the evening restaurant and breakfast room. Food was lovely however as this was their first weekend open since November closure It was evident that staff were under trained/ organized for the new tills, new eating area etc. As someone who works in the industry I completely understand their frustration and lack of organization. I'm sure over the coming weeks things will settle down and the Mulranny Park hotel will be back to it's excellent self again. I will definitely return.
