**Hotel Room Review for Room 2-56** **Pros:** - Spacious room - Well-functioning air conditioning - Good lighting - Mini refrigerator - Hot shower - Iron and hair dryer provided - Beverage combo set - Bathroom amenities provided - Slippers and bath towel included - Satisfying breakfast included in the room package, with a variety of options: - Nasi Lemak - Toast - Congee - Noodles (soup and fried) - Fried rice - Cereal - Coffee, tea, and juice - Light western snacks like chicken nuggets and sautéed sausages - Attractively classic interior - Indoor swimming pool - Gym - Secured basement parking lots **Cons:** - Some parts of the room were slightly dusty, indicating it hadn't been occupied for a while (e.g., lamp shade) - Dirt in the toilet bowl, suggesting it hadn't been used or cleaned recently - Limited TV channels (no Astro) **Additional Information:** - Despite some of the cons, I still recommend the hotel because the staff are friendly and helpful (receptionist, café, housekeeping, etc.). - A deposit of RM100 is required upon check-in, plus RM2 for tourism tax.

Security not safe, can access room from basement carpark. Toilet partition falling off, changed to another room slightly better but still falling off, is so dangerous (photo attached). Service : Maintenance department Indian boy is very polite and helpful, cafe staff is also very friendly and approachable. However, lobby receptionist Indian lady should be trained to be more polite and more welcoming attitude to guest.

Very nice House to stay with nice interior design. Complete with all electrical item for daily use. Very friendly host and highly recommended.

I stayed at ibis Melaka from 27 to 29 December 2024. The hotel has an excellent location, being within walking distance of the Stadthuys and Jonker Street, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was satisfactory, and the rooms were well-maintained. However, there are a few areas for improvement. During breakfast, coffee and tea were not replenished promptly, and the coffee bar was left unmanned at times, which was slightly inconvenient. It seemed the hotel was understaffed during my stay. Despite these minor issues, my experience was overall satisfactory, and I would consider staying here again for its great location and decent amenities.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, and the bed was perfect for a good night's rest. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, which made checking in and out easy and stress-free. However, there were a few issues that did impact my stay. Firstly, there was a leaking pipe in the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient. Try to call room service but it wasn’t working. Lastly, the food for breakfas at the hotel was decent, but nothing to rave about. It was quite basic. Despite these issues, the stay was overall good, but I hope the hotel addresses these small concerns for future guests.

It was very good. And the interior was so interesting. I ordered dinner at the restaurant and it was so delicious. If I come back to Malacca, I definitely want to visit again. Thank you.

I would say that the room was nice. All services front desk counter were totally friendly. Anyway, dust and watermark and lime wash in the bathroom should be focused on. Unfortunately, during nite, i found cockroaches in the bathroom, more than one! Pest controller must be done in certain period to avoid small creatures like cockroaches, and other harmful one be destroyed. .

Good service from the staff, and also very polite to customer. The environment of the hotel is feeling comfort and just like home. I will return again to Liu Men if the price is reasonable.

Room clean and the location near to the various attractive places like state zoo (zoo melaka & etc). Easy to find food outlet and the best thing, we can just go down to the lobby and from there, there is an outlet nearby where you can get food with reasonable price (and the taste was good as well).
