Hotel lobby and pool area are nice and well equipped. Hotel rooms are a little dated, but clean. The $8 for a bottle of water so you can brew a half of cup of coffee in the room seems excessive.

Great hotel close to the airport. Lovely large rooms and lovely outdoor pool area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place for a stop over before a flight with free shuttle to Miami airport.

The key is that the elevated monorail in the city of Miami is free and is located in the downtown area. It is a beautiful scenery in itself and should be one of the best in the United States. The Marriott Hotel is the same as the domestic one, and the service is as good as ever. The hotel is also very convenient to lyft to various attractions.
