Minamitsuru District Hotels with Wi-Fi

This hotel is coordinated by Ctrip. The boss can speak Chinese and helped us solve the problem of checking in at night as much as possible, and helped us book a taxi by phone for the next day. This is a row of tent hotels, suitable for self-driving and local outings. The original intention of establishing it is probably to welcome locals to drive out for BBQ. Due to traffic reasons, it is not suitable for tourists. Tourists usually go to Kawaguchiko Town to see Mount Fuji. Each tent is equipped with an independent BBQ area and matching stove. If you can use them, you will feel that the price/performance ratio is very high. But we are just tourists and have no use for it. The boss's enthusiasm brought warmth to our group in a helpless night.

It was my first time to stay here, and I was a little worried because I hadn't seen other reviews before. But I really didn’t expect it. The experience here was completely beyond my expectation! Each small villa is spacious and comfortable, with complete facilities. Even the bathrooms are so luxurious, which surprised me. And although the nearby hot spring is not big, it is kept clean and tidy, and the bar next to it is a plus! Every dish at dinner was unique, especially the meltingly tender steak, which made me hooked. Also, the hotel is really close to Mount Fuji. The fresh air in the morning and the authentic breakfast made me feel even more happy. In short, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay this time. The price/performance ratio is really high. I will recommend this hotel to everyone without hesitation!

We had the opportunity to stay at Fuji International Hotel for a night before our family holiday ended & I must say that this was actually the highlight of the trip with the warmest of hosts! The hosts went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay for all their guests, even entertaining through the night. Added another key memory for our Lake Yamanaka stopover. Not to mention brilliant views & spacious accommodation 🤗

The room is very Japanese, I like it very much, and it is very quiet at night, which is very suitable for a rest stop during a city transit trip. The boss is very nice, we can communicate in Chinese, and the local uncle who manages the B&B is also very nice. I was alone that day, and he waited until I came to check in very late. The room is close to the Yamanakako Plain, and the transportation is relatively convenient. If you go to Tokyo, you can take a bus to Shinjuku here. Finally, there are three regrets. One is that my phone fell on the way there, and I will not buy a folding screen again😭 (the boss is still very active in providing help) The second is that the B&B seems to have not found a hair dryer, and the supplies can be placed more prominently☺️ The third is that the restaurant here closes early, but there is an izakaya and 711 next to it. Very satisfied☺️

Recommend for family or group of friends. The house was clean and warm. The fuji view was really beautiful. The only problem is that there is no automatic toilet 😭

This hotel is a bit too far from downtown and is uphill with long distance travelling by car in circular loop. Hotel is generally clean but a bit aged and need upkeep. The open Onsen is sharing with other club hotel and hence need to walk from rooms. Overall generally worth the price, though it has a standing history of 60+ years

Hotel itself is bit isolated and need to rent a car to get to the hotel. There is nothing stand out in this Marriott hotel. Stayed here for one night due to it's close approximity to the lake and hotel has suna in offer.

Staff are generally nice and helpful. Most of them can be communicated with English which makes our stay easier. There are two hot spring site inside the hotel with one on the ground floor (1/F) and one on the top floor (5/F). One thing to note is there is no towel provided inside the hot spring changing room. You have to bring the towel inside your room to the hot spring site - and bring it back to your room if you plan to enjoy the hot spring 2nd time. This arrangement is not familiar for me as when I visited other hotel, they usually have more than enough towel for replacement at the changing room. There is a room for kids to play and stay and it is great from family with kids. My kids also enjoy the welcome food very much (lots of donuts and cookies!) The dinner for my package was Kaiseki-style. Since me and my family stayed for two nights, it is good that they have designed different meals for two nights! The beef is great I have to say. The staff will try their best to briefly introduce what the dishes were. We have the dinner in the restaurant so it may be a bit crowd and noisy to some people. From other tables I can see there is option for hotpot or even crabs! Re-checked with hotel's official web-site there are more choice on the dinner menu. Regarding the dinner menu choice, I did not find it when I order through Trip.com (maybe my bad), so it will be better if Trip.com can optimize the website outlook to make it more noticeable (I think this opinion applied to all other similar type Japanese hotel which provide high quality dinner). When you arrive Kawaguchiko train/bus station, you can go to the Tourist center there (just turn right when you leave the station, it is at another building) and ask the staff there help to call the hotel for the pick-up. Similary, when you check-out, you can talk with the front-desk staff and arrange the shuttle-bus back to the station.

We stayed one night in the suite with 2 western style bed and 1 Japanese futon bed. The room has a tatami area with small table where we can enjoy some tea and snacks. The room has a private onsen with Mount Fuji view. The view from the room is magnificent 🥹
