On our travels around Costa Rica we were extremely lucky to book a stay for a couple of nights with Sergio and Katia at their lovely apartments. From the moment we arrived Sergio ensured we had everything we needed and we found our room exceptionally clean and spacious. Breakfast was a delight and Sergio advised us on where to go and even arranged and booked a couple of activities. We would happily recommend this guest house to anyone staying in this area.

A lovely place to stay and the owners Sergio and Katia are so service-minded. We had two nicely decorated rooms with private bathroom - very high standard. Breakfast was superb. The location is good within walking distance to Santa Elena Sergio gave us useful tips where to go and what to see i Monte Verde. We can really recommend this place

Mi Casa Su Casa is a small boarding house that is kept very clean by the owner Sergio. It is a short walk outside of town, Santa Elena, and close by to the main attractions. Sergio was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay but there were many things that could and probably should be better. There is no signage so it's rather tricky to find. It is very very noisy. The metal roof exaggerates the rain and wind. There is a soccer field outside with games played every night until midnight with the resultant screams of excitement. There are two lovely little dogs at the property unfortunately they yap and bark constantly. There is no hot water in the bathroom wash basin, only cold. The shower is fine though. The room has no air-conditioning nor heating. It was rather cold when we were there and the room was damp. Breakfast was a simple affair, the fruits were marvellous, the processed cheese and hams less so.

This was a brilliant Airbnb - a real home from home. Sergio and his partner helped us with so much - from organising trips to giving us ponchos and umbrellas for our outing. Nothing was too much for them. The accommodation was very comfortable and within walking distance (up a hill) from the town centre. We would love to return one day.

Our stay at Mi Casa Su Casa was beyond what we ever imagined. Our host, Sergio, with his many years experience as a tour guide was able to recommend great activities. He is knowledgeable, friendly and the perfect host. The house is clean, the beds are soo comfortable, we were walking distance to the village and the view from our room was beautiful. Staying here reminded me of being with family. We would come and go as we pleased but if we needed a coffee or had a question Sergio was there for us. I highly recommend and will go back.

Een heel mooi verblijf waarbij niks teveel was voor de eigenaar. Een zeer prettige ontvangst. De kamers waren brandschoon en heel netjes. Het ontbijt was prima. Niks dan lof voor de eigenaar en zijn partner. Mi casa su casa ligt heel centraal in Monteverde. Kleine afstanden naar de natuurparken. Het kolibricafe is een aanrader. Het verschillende kolibries gespot.

Sergio ist ein toller Gastgeber! Er ist sehr sympathisch und hilft mit Tipps oder organisiert auf Wunsch Tickets zu den verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Er ist total unkompliziert und jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar, wenn man z. B. ein Taxi benötigt, weil man so wie ich mit dem Bus unterwegs ist. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und sauber. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen von Sergio und seiner Freundin mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es war eine Freude, hier Gast zu sein.

Katia et Sergio nous ont très bien accueillis, nous ont bien conseillés concernant les activités à faire et ce fut un plaisir de discuter avec eux. Le logement est bien situé, on peut accéder à Santa Elena à pied et on s’y sent très bien ! Merci !
