We recently stayed at the Sur Hotel in Montevideo as part of our trip to Uruguay. We have stayed at the Sur Hotel multiple times over the years, and as always, our stay at this charming and comfortable hotel was fabulous! Not only is it perfectly situated very close to downtown, the Old City, and El Mercado del Puerto, but the service from the staff is always exceptional! The owners helped us book a car from the airport, and also a car to Piriapolis. They always give us great advise about where the best restaurants are and they are just lovely people. We are always so grateful to have stayed in such a warm, comfortable, and friendly environment. It is the only place we will stay when we are in Montevideo!! Thank you Rafael and Adriana!!

Great location, clean room, friendly staff. Easy access to the Rambla from the hotel, with good restaurants nearby. The only negative issue I had was with some of the homeless being aggressive in asking for money. Stick to the main streets and you'll be fine.

Excelente Hotel, más de lo que esperaba. Me recibieron muy amablemente.Check In rápido . La habitación era en planta alta por escalera, con un buen balcón a la calle. Descansé perfectamente, buen colchón , baño cómodo y la ducha con abundante agua. Tiene aire acondicionado y también ventilador. La tv es grande y con canales de cable. El hotel tiene una muy linda decoración y cuadros con la historia de la ciudad de Montevideo. Está bien ubicado muy cerca de la costa o rambla, restaurantes y supermercados. Muy conforme quede con el alojamiento y con la gente que allí trabaja.

Muy lindo hotel . Habitación amplia , buen baño, buena ducha. Nos atendieron de maravilla. Para recomendar No están preparando desayunos pero en frente hay un buen restaurante con buen café . La ubicación es muy buena ya que está cerca de todo.

Estuvimos solamente 2 días y realmente pasamos muy bien. La atención es muy buena…muy simpáticos y amables todos .La habitación muy linda. Buen baño,buena ducha. Frente al hotel hay un lindo restaurante dónde desayunos. La ubicación es buena, cerquita de la costa y de 18 de Julio la avenida principal. Vale la pena!!!

La habitacion estaba bien equipada. Tenia dos sillas y un lugar con microondas y dispenser de agua caliente. la ducha con agua caliente funcionaba bien. El hotel era silencioso y la gente amable. La ubicación esta buena para ir con auto ya que sus alrededores tienen estacionamiento no medido.

Fuimos en familia por dos noches. El hotel es muy bonito, con una decoración muy agradable, estaba todo limpio y ordenado. Nos atendieron super bien! Hice la reserva porque me habia gustado por las fotos que ví y por los buenos comentarios que tenia, no me equivoque en la elección. Ademas tienen muy buen precio.
