"I needed somewhere nice to stay for a quick visit to Montevideo- this hotel is in desperate need of renovation, the rooms themselves were clean but absolutely tiny- I could barely move around the room. Breakfast was decent and service was great, friendly staff. For the price, I think it is okay."

"Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel is located at Plaza Independencia. It is within walking distance to Ciudad Vieja, museo Andes, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Solís Theatre. The hotel is situated about 45 minutes drive to Carrasco International Airport. We stayed at Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza for 3 nights, and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception, housekeeping, all the staff at breakfast and Arcadia restaurants did their best to make our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed. The breakfast restaurant is located on the 25th floor overlooking the harbour and breakfast menu exceeded our expectations. There are a variety of croissants and pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yoghurt, and coffee. The heated swimming pool and spas on the 6th floor are clean and it opens from 5.30am to 9.30pm. There is a casino inside the hotel and plenty of punters smoking outside the casino. We were upgraded to a king suite room on the 11th floor. Unfortunately, the furniture in the room was obsolete, and the linen provided looked like 20 years old. The carpet in the room looked old and dirty."

"Every was great: good location, close to everything, excellent top-floor room with terrace with amazing view, comfty bed with multiple pillows, loft style room, safe place - there are some beggars around the property but they are not aggressive, grocery shop in 1 min walk, fast check-in and check-out, perfect cleaning."

Room: The room can put 2 28-inch suitcases, but the facilities are beginning to age, the air conditioning is good, the bathroom water pressure and hot water are very good.
