What a stunning place to be? Awesome, the Kruger experience in an ultimate location, overviewing the Lewuhu river. Extremly knowlegeable guide showing us the remotest places from the mighty Limpopo river to the archilogical sites. A prime location for birding and game viewing. Very helpful and kind personal, excellent food, not the slightest complaints, just a place you have to go.....

This lodge on the Levuvhu river provides a fantastic experience and excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, the guides knowledgeable, the food is great, and the luxury tents are stylish and comfortable. Some of our favourites were the outside shower, coffee and cookies on the stoep while watching the buffalo/crocs/birds in and around the river, cooling off in the pool, the view from Lanner gorge … we can go on and on. Thank you to Andile (our guide) and everyone who made it so special.

Review for Pafuri Tented Camp This was our fourth stay at Pafuri Tented Camp, and that alone should tell you how much we love this place! Every visit is nothing short of phenomenal. From the breathtaking scenery to the warm hospitality, it’s an experience that keeps drawing us back. The tents are beautifully designed, offering the perfect balance of luxury and immersion in nature. Waking up to the sounds of the bush and watching wildlife pass by from our deck never gets old. The staff are exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and always making sure your stay is unforgettable. The food is fantastic, and every meal feels like a special occasion. Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, Pafuri Tented Camp delivers. We can’t wait to “return” for our next visit!

What an amazing experience. We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful lodge. The staff was unbelievably friendly, and our ranger, JP, went above and beyond to make every game drive special. The staff knew us all by name and made the stay amazing.

Outstanding service! Staff very friendly and efficient. Accommodation is clean and beds are wonderfully comfortable, Some toilet seats are old and need to be replaced. No matter which luxury tent you get to stay in, the walk to your tent is a wonderful experience.

Wonderful peaceful place to unwind by the river. Comfortable king size bed, great food, excellent staff and Hlahla the best guide. Wonderful early morning walk with rangers. Amazing Baobabs, lots of buck and elephant. Need the big cats!

Parfuri Camp is a true gem! The food was outstanding, with every meal delicious and beautifully prepared. The birding is world-class. The guides are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making every drive both exciting and educational. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to each individuals needs. If you're looking for a magnificent scenery, a mix of wildlife and birding, comfort, and genuine hospitality, Parfuri is it. Can’t wait to return

This was our second stay at Pafuri and we'll be back again. It was our honeymoon and our first night, we were given a special table and complementary champagne, a lovely gesture. The staff and guides go above and beyond to meet your needs. We love birding and saw 31 lifers on this trip. The food and service is excellent, especially given the remote location.
