"This is the perfect place for nature lovers who also want real comfort and luxury. The lodge is exquisitely decorated and it was a pleasure to sit with a coffee and watch bush bucks, warthogs, kudu and all types of birds come into the garden. Walking around the lodge I came close to giraffes, zebras and more. It was breathtaking. I stayed for 2 blissful nights and enjoyed delicious home cooked meals, a wonderfully comfortable bed and hot baths each day. I hope to come back in future!"

"I spent two nights at Sunbird before entering Kruger NP. Our room was nice, quite big and located in a beautiful garden full of different plants. Breakfast was yummy, offering wide choice of tea, cereals and banana bread, before a full English breakfast was served. The location is very good, close to supermarkets and to the Kruger NP gate as well. If this is not enough, the point of strength of Sunbird Lodge is Dave, the owner, that was very helpful since I enquired for booking and, once there, gave us advice about restaurants, shops and about the road to the Olifants River cruise. I'll go there again when I'll visit Kruger next and I deeply advise this accommodation."

"What an incredible place! Celebrated our anniversary there, and they went the extra mile to make it special. Beautiful table layed out on our deck for dinner, with champagne. Pledge was incredible, helpful,friendly and just made sure we were looked after. The best view in the Lowveld from your deck, with beautiful splash pool, comfortable bed and all you need for a perfect stay. Cannot rate this place enough - 10 out of 10."

"This is a truly special place to stay, close to the town, and many restaurants nearby. Very relaxing pool area, and lounge. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, they even did a breakfast pack when we left early for one of our trips. Breakfast is served with pride, wonderful staff and great service. We have now stayed there twice, and will again on our next visit to Phalaborwa. If you want a place that is both comfortable and convenient for all that surrounds you, then choose ISO Bella Vita Guess House."
