There are two Yamato hotels in Morioka. This Yamato is close to the city center, about 17 minutes walk from JR Morioka Station, but there is a street next to the hotel. Be careful if someone solicits customers at night.

It's a bit far from the train station, more than 20 minutes walk. But it's close to major attractions such as Morioka Castle Park and Iwate Bank. There are several unique restaurants around.
