Kilimanjaro White House Hotel

I loved my stay here. Everyone is hospitable. If you go up to the terrace, Kilimanjaro is right in your face. This was my first time visiting Tanzania. I loved walking the roads and being on the terrace. It gave me a glimpse into the daily life of folks living there. The views from the top floor are incredible anytime of the day, but especially at sunset and sunrise. It is much better to stay here versus in Arusha if you want to live the slow life for a bit. Many people come here to watch football at night. Children on the street waving hello. Such a charming place. The food here was out of this world good. I would be so excited for meals. The manager is very helpful. Make sure to bring change for drinks. The rooms are spotless and modern. The room even comes with AC and a TV. There is also a balcony. My only suggestion would be to provide shampoo and also very if the water pressure works for the hot water setting. The hot water did not work for us and the pressure was poor. We ended up taking cold showers. I would recommend that you check every room for this. I loved my time here. This is the best place to stay after you arrive from Kilimanjaro airport. Moshi is the nearest city and perfect if you are hiking Kilimanjaro or doing day hiking trips at the foothills of Kilimanjaro. Support this local business in Moshi instead of staying in noisy Arusha. You will love it here. Thanks to everyone that works here.

Was the best solo experience I had for my stay at Kilimanjaro White house hotel.I had two nights saying there since I was climbing Mountain Kilimanjaro via 7days machame route with Jaynevy Tours and it was amazing since this hoteli made my stay amaizing.

This hotel was really good and we enjoyed so much, We slept two night which we were preparing for Climbing the mount Kilimanjaro and the receptionist those guys are really charming and lovely for sure. They made sure we enjoyed our staying there.

This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed in Moshi. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Outstanding service!!!! Prompt, courteous and always willing to help. Best location for all Traveller for hiking Mount Kilimanjaro and for Safari. We highly recommend recommend all hikers to Mount Kilimanjaro to overnight at Kilimanjaro white house hotel.

Spent a nice peaceful pleasant night. Woke up early to enjoy the calmness and watch sunrise over a nice cup of coffee. The people made necessary arrangements for a kettle, and mug so I can have my tea and coffee. The kitchen made my sandwiches, fresh watermelon juice and bananas packed for my early trip and early check out. The staff also made arrangements for my day trip to the foot of Kilimanjaro and to the hot springs at Chemuka. Amazing view from the terrace. Comfortable room. No toiletry supplies, though. Luckily, I had my own. Nice welcome by staff. Gave me the room I wanted. My stay was too short.

We stayed at the White House Hotel in Moshi before and after we hiked Kilimanjaro. All staff members were polite, very helpful, and kind. Aladaru and Shiraz worked at the front desk and helped us manage last minute laundry service and rides, and served as communicators for us. Aladuru checked us in when we arrived from the airport at 3:00 am and made sure we were comfortable. They even personally called our tour operator (who they happened to know) to pass messages along when we ourselves could not reach them. Jerod was our waiter at the restaurant and was so friendly and energetic. All of them did their job exceptionally well. The room was clean. Food was good. Some things to note: - the hotel is in Moshi village, (not Moshi town) which is about a 15 minute ride to Moshi town. -everything seems to be cash pay only so bring more change than what you think you need (especially small bills). - bring ear plugs because the local roosters will wake you up. We really enjoyed our stay here and the hotel staff. We wish we had more time! It was a lovely experience.
