Residence Inn Charleston Mt. Pleasant

The hotel is in an excellent location, within 10 minutes from the Isle of Palms beach. The breakfast area was a nice amenity with good food selections.Housekeeping was pretty good, although they did not vacuum the room, a requirement for me for beach area hotels. Also, the bathroom in the room we were assigned to had not been serviced by maintenance in a while. The tub was aged with areas of rust in the tub near the drain, and an un-repaired shower bar near the top entrance of the tub/shower. We may use the hotel again with reiteration on expectations and an agreement that such expectations will be met.

Excellent hotel in Mount Pleasant just miles from the beach! Friendly staff and clean facilities! This hotel is in a nice area walking distance to several shops and restaurants! Will definitely stay here in the future! Super impressed with the 2 bedroom suite that we booked!

Members of our family were there for a 2 week post surgery recovery. My sister and I were there for a few days with them . The suite and the hotel was exceptionally clean, well maintained and all the common areas especially the kitchen and dining were remarkably well attended and hygienically clean. It turned out to be the best choice for our recovering post surgery relative. Many thanks and Many Blessing to ach and every staff member we encountered. Each was helpful and eager to answer questions, respond cheerfully and equally concerned to the post-op patient's well being and our family.

Checking in with my wife last night 1/14/24 using an awards night I had on my Bonvoy account for a quick getaway to the Charleston area. Picked this Residence Inn based on its central location. After checking in we were assigned room 204. Navigating the hotel noticed there were dehumidifiers (at least 4 or 5) on each floor. Thought that was odd until we got to our room and realized upon entry the room smelled terribly musty… to the point it nauseated both of us. Also the shower curtain rail was hanging down and soap dish holder pulled out of the wall. The front desk did change our room… but was not very nice about it (not even an apology). Overall the hotel is beat up and showing it’s wear. Not your typical Marriott standard hotel.

My wife and I have enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn in Mt Pleasant, SC. The facility is clean and everything we used in our suite worked well. The staff at this place are ALL amazing. they are polite and accommodating. Included full American breakfast buffet available every morning was excellent, Kudos to Shirley for such a beautiful, delicious presentation. Cathy at Housekeeping ( others too ) , Ariel and Jennifer on the front desk ( there were other folks whose names I didn’t catch at the front desk ) Julian on the maintenance team , He was always around and always looking to help us if we needed something. There are several other people who I didn’t learn their names, but each and EVERY one of them were friendly and helpful. To say we felt welcomed and cared for would be an understatement. Looking forward to Our next visit already.

I honestly for the first time have nothing negative to say (usually there's SOMETHING that wasn't 100% perfect). Friendly, efficient staff, rooms were cleaned, parking was good. I used the workout room and pool while I was there, and they were perfectly fine. They even offer spring water in the workout room, which was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast was always hot and a great selection. The eating area was actually very beautiful and clean. Would stay here again, no problem.
